Hey friends! Tonight Maymay brings you another AMAZING Fun Fold Folio!
This folio has a belly band,pull apart flaps and a TOWER~
So gather up those supplies and let's create!!
~~Measurements~~
Base:
you will need 2 pieces of either solid color cardstock or pattern cardstock that are 8.50" x 11"
Take both pieces and score on the 11" side at 1 .75" ~ 2.50" and 9"
Pull Apart Flaps:
(4) pieces cut to 8.50" x 6" score on the 8" side at 4" and 8"
(4) pieces cut to 3.50" x 5" score on the 3.50" side at 1/2"
Pocket Gussets:
(4) pieces cut to 2" x 1" score in 1/2 on the 1" side
Belly Bands:
(4) pieces cut to 2" x 6" and score on the 6" side at 1/2" and 3/8" on just one end ( see the video)
Tower base:
(2) pieces cut to 5" x 6" score on the 5" side at 1" ~ 2" ~ 3~ and 4"
Tower Photo Mats:
(8) pieces cut to 4" x 6"
Photo Mats:
(24) white pieces cut to 3 .75" x 5 .75"
(8) white pieces cut to 2 .75" x 4 .75"
Handle:
straps are 4” x 1 1/4” and the handle is 1 1/2 wide folded in half with the length is whatever you decide

OMGoodness! I found this tutorial and decided to give it a try and I must say I am so glad I used some old plain cardstock to test the concept. Not only was it fun, it was intriguing, challenging and rewarding all at once. I made mistakes along the way and even had to figure out how to do a certain step according to the way my brain thinks (challenging) but in the end I had did it! Yeah! So rewarding. I learned a few things so now I am off to repeat the process using what I call my "pretty" double-sided paper. Wish me luck and thanks again for all your fabulous folio tutorials (love them).

Absolutely love this folio! Love the paper you choose. We have a wedding in August and it’s being held on my son in laws farm. My granddaughter is going to Europe for her senior class trip during April vacation. This would be so cute for that trip. I have been a bit timid to make one of these folios, but I think this may be the one. I will probably do it with solid card stock and cover it with a map. I envision the cover having the US and Europe with a plane or something. The rest will come as I make it I think.

This is such a great folio, and I love the acetate sheet tool! I would maybe add lines to it for the score marks so I know for sure what will go were since I sometimes have trouble visualizing that sort of thing.

I love this and I want to make one!!! But can you please help me understand? Maymay keeps saying 3/8ths inch on the belly bands and it says 3/8 in the description, but isn't she showing us 5/8ths? Because if you scored again at 3/8 it would be smaller than the half inch score... and it sure looks like she preserved the entire half inch.
