I have a weird attachment to this song. The first time i heard it, i was like 7 or 8 and i was at my mom's coworker's birthday party. We had these big blow up microphones and there was karaoke playing. I ended up getting sick that day and threw up. So while i waited for my mom to take me home, i sat there on the couch watching the lyrics on the tv. I remember a yellow background with the lyrics in black for this song. At that moment, i fell in love with this song. I cant remember what else i had experienced besides that. I know this was a pretty stupid story, but i just felt like telling it

That’s cool, Andrew Dost that is in the band who made this song graduated from my highschool and so all my friends and I knew this song since we were in like third grade. It’s such a nice feeling driving around with them late at night blasting this same song, it has so many memories. His parents actually substitute taught all the time for us when we were in elementary school, they’re the nicest people ever and they would always bring cookies and toys for us to have. 2012, wow did you bring me so much joy, I miss the old days of amazing music and people didn’t care and start drama, as a matter a fact I didn’t care what I looked like or if I had to shave and wear curtain clothes to fit in with everyone one else. I was born in 2006 and man was I born in the wrong year. I wanted to be a 1990s kid with great music and amazing movies and people but It didn’t happen. 2020, isn’t the same and neither was 2019 or 2018 but those years were better than 2020 that’s for sure. In 2012 we didn’t have to worry about wearing a mask or keeping our distance or protests and we didn’t loose so many legends in one year. 2020 is full with toxic people and society sure doesn’t make it better. I guess I’m just saying my thoughts on KZbin, wow.
