This shows how much brilliance went into all of Fosse's pieces because many years after his death, dancers are still trying to capture his magic. I say good job on this piece because it pays homage to the greatest choreographer of all time.

The choreography was beautiful, and very Fosse-esque.

Looks like you had SO much fun. Fosse is difficult to replicate. Good attempt...and I mean that in the most positive of ways.

You were close in the very first shot...but this is not Fosse stuff-he was classically trained, and so were all his dancers. SUPER trained, not just dancing around as a bunch of untrained wannabes like the kids in this vidi.

Maybe you can give them a lesson, you know "show how the SUPER trained ones do it". 🙃

OKay ! Just as a matter of Fact I was a Fosse Dancer and ,yes I was classically trained but there were also several of Bob's dancers Who Were NOT Classically Trained ! Now as far as your comment " a bunch of wannabes like the kids in this vid ! " Yes THEY ARE KID'S and They WANNABE Dancers and for that very reason you have little to NO RIGHT to chastise them in ANYWAY ! Consider Your Hand SLAPPED !

As a former Fosse dancer turned videographer, I can honestly say that it was a valiant effort but it lacked in many ways. I would encourage you to keep working on this piece and making it better and better. Pull-up various Fosse pieces on KZbin and study the classic, iconic signature moves and spend A LOT of time in front of the mirror working on control, and precision on even the smallest of movements like the finger snaps and the pelvic thrusts. And PLEASE work on your facial expressions. Wipe off all those damn smiles ! It's Fosse not High School Musical. It's not all about classical training either. Many of us were not heavy on classical training, but It's about STYLE and performance. The tall young man pulled my focus and showed promise, but again still needs to keep working on STYLE. Get those fingers flared and match each others fingers when the pointer and thumb pinch the rim of the derby - THAT is classic Fosse.
