Saw them love at the Myth here in Minnesota. Shit was crazy. And yes, he can hit those notes, he sounds just as good live as he does in the studio, they are truly incredible. All the greatest vocalists have had vocal problems at one point. Steve Perry, Freddy Mercury, Don Henley, all of them, but they are still regarded as some of the greatest vocalists of all time.
