No one talks about how Elton John sings so smooth
@Neevie-Styx11 ай бұрын
I thought it was pretty choppy. But almost every comment here is going on about how great Elton was. I like the original better, but Elton John f*cking rules (more as a solo artist than doing the chorus for Em.) I’m glad he performed with Em, but the contrast of Dido’s very smooth voice sounds better to me with this song. I’m glad everyone else loved Elton’s version though. Hopefully a lot of new people discovered his old songs through this. ❤

Eminem went from rapping, "You think I give a damn about a Grammy? Half of you critics can't even stomach me, let alone stand me"....to performing at the Grammys, and collecting a total of 15 up to this point for himself.
@DumbNumbThumb2 жыл бұрын
Both "Stan" and "The Real Slim Shady" appeared on the same album though, namely "The Marshal Mathers LP", so that's not really valid, as you surely can see, friend

@@Infinityxxxxxx Hey, it wasn't me who didn't check the facts. Mistakes can be made: you can fudge up spelling or grammar and it wouldn't affect the message you're trying to convey. But factual mistakes are the worst kind - they twist the actual data and depict you in unfavourable light. As a translator I was taught to avoid them at [almost] any cost. So, I know that its better to check your info twice before putting it into words. Wishing you all the best in the future!😀

@Kirill Nalivaiko infinity's facts are still valid though? Eminem released the real slim shady first and afterwards he went to perform at the grammys (unless he performed at the grammys sometime before he released the real slim shady but idk about that)

You know it must be said how great on the fly Eminem can clean up most of the swears. That's not easy to do when you're used to writing and performing a certain way. Your muscle memory doesn't necessarily stop and think "change the word". So bravo. And beautiful with Elton John

A perfect performance of what is in my opinion Eminem's most unique song.
@dylanwatt7461 Жыл бұрын
ooooooooooh. i might have to disagree. his most unique to me is hailie's song. very vulnerable, especially in a time the media was tearing him to shreds, and he tried to do something new as he never really sang instead of rapped before. stan is beautiful too though.

imagine a day where you could be able to express yourself by saying whatever the hell you want on the grammys and mainstream media. Think about it this way, eminem got as big as he with cussing. So why should he censor something that is apart of what got him nominated in the first place
@johanneswielenga69023 жыл бұрын
@@ripwakez955 I mean, Will Smith didn't have to cuss in his raps to sell records.... so. But then again, I can just imagine that Eminem would say something like "well I do, so fuck him and fuck you too!"
