This man does great reviews without being bought from the plane company's, and with a higher understanding of aeronautics than most rc people. Like and comment his vids so we can support the channel so Maybe it can always be here!

My grandfather George L Jones flew the P-47 during WWII with the 21st & 34th Fighter Squadron. He absolutely enjoyed the Jug. He became an Ace during the Korean Conflict in the 1950's

My father was on the ground fighting, well more or less hiding in the bush waiting for the opportunity to get his one shot.

Excellent transition/reduction in backpressure for the 6s takeoff roll at 10:20. Prevented it from leaping into the air and potentially getting an accelerated and/or asymmetric stall low to the ground, despite knowing you needed backpressure at the start of the takeoff roll to prevent a flip from the grass. Great flying and love the review!

6s in combination with that 12 x 8 prop is very nice. Flys like a bat out of hell! Im going to pick one of these up to add to the fleet after watching your video!

You make the best reviews. I love mine. I fly it 6s 3600mah with a 3 blade prop.

This reminds me of a larger version of House of Balsa's 1/2A series of warbirds. Slab-sided, with simple construction, they were a lot of fun!

*Love your reviews, sir! Thorough Attention to Details, and even flaws are pointed out. Tells me **_No store owns your soul._** I wonder if it would perform Better or Worse with a 4-Blade prop?* 👍😀😉

I think it is a very good candidate for a four-bladed prop running on 4-cell battery pack.

Awesome review! But then again you never disappoint. I don't fly low wing very well, but it looks like that I might be able to fly this model, but I'm not going to risk paying $500.00 to find out. 😄

I like mine too. It’s definitely a intermediate and up flyer with a bit of care needed on landings. Do your part on the sticks and this P-47 is very rewarding. $500 isn’t bad considering what you get. Avoid any “incidents” and this balsa and film model will last a very long time. The only mod I did on mine was to recover the horizontal stab in Cub Yellow Ultracoat to help with visibility a bit. I will probably go with invasion stripes on the bottom of the wings too.

Been on the fence on this one. Just don’t really care for the square fuselage. Great video. Thanks Fitz.

It's a style that was popular back in the days before ARFs.

Good looking plane! But what is your goto plane when not filming and just want to have a good time? 🙂

Watched another channel doing a maiden on the FMS P-47. On the second flight he experienced a left aileron and right landing gear failure. Needles to say the plane crashed and suffered non repairable damage.

I liked your video it was great. I am getting one of these airplanes very soon. I am going to program it to use the ailerons as flaperons, you may want to trying that too, to see if you like it? If you do like it please consider doing a video on it? Thanks much for the fun video on this P47.

I've been seeing this at my local hobby store. It looks a little weird to me at the tail section.

So you went to 6s and still didn't epoxy the wings ? Sounds dangerous
