If you stick your clear embossed image in freezer for a bit it cracks even better and you don't risk bending the paper. It also looks cool if you 'antique' after with a complimentary ink color. Awesome Ideas!!

Oh my word....these are simple fabulous ideas. I was familiar with the clear embossing powder and ink...but you ROCKED THE WORLD With other ones, making your paper look like ephemera, metal and phase from a stamp! I must say I'm not surprised that you did these, as you ate ALWAYS...showcases wonderful ideas. Thank you for tripling the value of our embossing powders😇

Just in time! (I think I have seen this before, but it just popped up again!). My daughter-in-love has a birthday soon, and she asked me to assemble some supplies for her to use to create cards ( I guess we can call it a card kit?). I am planning to do a lot of different sentiments, and I love the multiple layered and multiple colors ideas for that. I may also do some colored cardstock sentiments and break out the ultra thick powder. (I have had her gifts ready for a while, but when she has a specific ask, I will jump through hoops to make it happen!).

I also try to incorporate then into art works for a whole range of medium affects and textures. It’s really fun to do that and I encounter some nice surprises along the way. I absolutely love what you did in the cracked glass technique. Not so much for that look, but as a way to beef up some of the diecuts that have come in some of my card kits (and some I have purchased separately). A lot of them are really fun and I want to use them, but they are kind of flimsy. I am thinking a few layers of regular clear embossing powder will beef them up enough to be popped up without getting all bent and curled. Can’t wait to try! You have stirred my juices this morning!!! Thank you.

Awesome awesome video Courtney! I love all the ideas! But I’m so bummed because I just ordered another clear embossing pen because I couldn’t find my other one. QUESTION? Can you use micron pigment ink pens instead of buying the black ranger pigment ink pens for bossing? I know they are only five or six dollars for the both, but at this point in my life I don’t have any extra money at all. Thank you so much. Liz😊💗👍🏼
@PearBlossomPress5 жыл бұрын
The Micron pens dry very quickly (one of the things I love about them since I'm a lefty who tends to smear ink as I write). You can always use your clear embossing pen over your black ink though.
