Wonderful, in depth info. I have been dying to try my hand at embossing but have been intimidated to start because I know nothing. This is an excellent video to get started! I also love that you demonstrate common mistakes and how/why to avoid them. Thanks!!

I really love your videos, very clear, easy to understand and no unnecessary chit chat or giggles. There aren't many tutorials done with a clear English accent, you will be my go to site for all tutorials in future. Please keep them coming. Thank you Alex.

Excellent video! I’m a new subscriber now. I throughly enjoy making my own cards and one of my favorite techniques is embossing. It adds a wow factor to the cards. It’s been awhile since I’ve used my embossing powders and I appreciate the refresher course. I have one quick question, is it possible to make your own stamp cleaner? What do you think it is made of? Thanks and have a lovely day!

Hi Alexandra. Please HELP!!!!!! I spent ages yesterday making an insert for my special trellis card but wanted to put a gold embossed butterfly in the middle of my paper/card. I went to emboss it and my new heat tool worked great but OH NO!!!! my paper/card has warped what can i do? I heated it from underneath and on top in the hope this wouldn't happen. Hugs and Luvs xxxx

Try putting the card under a heavy pile of books for a few days to straighten it out.good luck and lots of love x sue

Hi, I thought you liked the Tonic Nuvo Clear Mark best? Which would you recommend for a learner stamper - Versamark or Nuvo? Many thanks.
@HedgehogHollow6 жыл бұрын
Hi Gail, this is a really old video before I really new about all the other options or they were available to me; for a beginner now I say go Nuvo :-)
@gailbarlow89586 жыл бұрын
Hedgehog Hollow Thank you for getting back to me - it is much appreciated. I have a very old unused Versamark which will more than likely be dried out by now. I will try the Nuvo, as a “learner” again it should give me more time to play!

I like using a cloth with water on the whole, for tougher inks I use the tonic stamp cleaning fluid

Can I can use any type of ink with embossing powder? Or are there only specific types of ink ? 💕❤️💕
@pinkpinsofpain4 жыл бұрын
You can use clear embossing ink + colored embossing powder or colored pigment ink + clear embossing powder.

Would it be OK if I post a link to your channel on a closed group that I belong to? There are over 10,000 members and a lot of them are new to stamping and would benefit from your videos. Thanks!

Hi Alexandra. Me again, I panicked without needing to it has now flattened out itself. I didn't delete the post in case someone else has the same problem. Hugs xxxx

So glad it flattened out for you, by alternating the heat on each side it should normally sort itself out

Thank you for your reply. Yesterday I used paper I think rather than my usual card so the warping was more than usual. Do you happen to know whats the weight when paper changes to card? xxx Wendy
