roadblocks fagg i agree. Im 15 and most songs i listen to are from the time good songs just like this one came out. This song was my childhood lmao! I hate about 90% songs from our time. No real singing and rap is not good like from 90's and early 20's now they are trash but i do like artists like Eminem, Chance the rapper, Marshmello, Deadmau5, and a lot others that put effort to make good songs.

@@isabellamayer6385 honestly I wouldn’t worry too much. You are still really young and your teen years can be really fun; don’t focus on the pass when you still have so much a head of you. Try to spend your time being happy and not being caught up on the little things bc in the long run they don’t matter :)

This makes me sad but alao happy because I loved my childhood. It did have it's time when it wasn't the greatest, but it was mine and made some cherished memories and I'll be thankful for that. This song is beautiful.

It’s sad and may hurt a little to see that this was years ago...especially when you look back and realize how far away, but yet, how close it seems. I remember one particular middle school memory about 4 years ago, when my English teacher gave us an assignment to find a “metaphor” in a song we liked and I chose this one (the line “Getting higher than the Empire State”). He, of course, explained to me that it wasn’t exactly appropriate for school, but all it takes is little things like that to build a memory and funny (now that I think about it) connection on one of your favorite songs growing up.
