It was a hassle using those clips on the mounts . I started taking the four screws out just like we do the Trailfinders. And it’s easy just line up the back end and drop it down and they go right in place.

I've got an ol' D110 G2 LWB, I put it on the leaf conversion because the stock geometry on the LWB was absolutely horrible. Plus leafs are just more gooder! It's certainly an interesting thing to drive, despite being on the same axles as my TF2 LWB and now also leaf springs it handles quite a bit different. Carries it's weight a lot...worse? Which does make it more of a challenge. Perhaps the very opposite of my SCX 10.2 which just easily crawls over everything I point it at. The G2 kinda struggles its way over. Uh- Rambling aside though, putting the battery under the hood on these D90s with the opening hood is a great idea, especially with the Fusion making the wiring that much easier.

I plan on doing this exact same thing with my tf2 Blazer. I think it would be a lot easier to put a small strip of velcro directly on the battery and tray instead of trying to use 2 straps. 🤓

You think those body mounts suck, try using them with the inner fender set. 😂 I replaced the Yota axle out back with a Boom Racing axle to get some underdrive. I'm also running their high clearance skid.

If you don’t need the wheel speed that high you can turn it down to a 1200kv speed with the throttle EPA on the transmitter

I did the same with mine, battery and receiver up front, I have inner fenders in mine so the battery sits on them
