Sweet. Printing this right now. I did a pause color change right on the top edge of my steps. I printed the steps in gray, with a little gold accent on the edge like the safety marking on real escalators. Will post my make on thingiverse when its assembled.

This is great, good job. What would be better if you hooked up a dc motor pr stepper motor and a couple of buttons controlling it with either an arduino or a esp32 microcontroller. Still, it is a very good project.

it's cool, but it seems to be super hard to put the chain together. I still can't figure out where it goes on the track.

Could you post a couple of pictures showing the assembly? You said you might do an assembly video in the future, but I’ve sunk in 2 hours of trying to assemble it and am struggling to find a soloution
