If anything, others can benefit from our own suffering.

Thank you for sharing your story. I can't believe how similar our symptoms are AND all the stuff you've gone through to get diagnosis is exactly what I'm doing right now. My Dr's are still "figuring out" what's going on with me and I wonder if it's this. I've had the MRIs done too and only found some minor disc degeneration and a couple small disc protrusionson the spine, and "migraine spots" on the brain MRI. Being told the same thing, my symptoms don't match the scan results. I also have mental health dx and c-ptsd. Gabapentin is the only thing helping me as well. I get severe tremors, almost faint, Ive lost feeling in both legs and thought I was paralyzed for 10 hours, so something that resembled a seizure but I was fully conscious through it...Wow. I really wonder if I have this condition too. Thank you so much for sharing this.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. There are so many parallels between the symptoms you describe and my own, you might just need a good neurological expert to fully dx FND because it's one of those 'well I guess it's this' diagnoses. More importantly for me has been to try to live life within the compounds of my disability. To wake up each day and not be defeated is the real challenge for me. I hope that you can take some respite in these words: you will not be beaten. Take care and thank you for taking the time to connect.

Thank you for replying. It really means a lot to me to hear from other people with the same condition. This week has been really bad, not able to walk and it's these days the positivity well feels all dried up. Knowing you are here with me will make it easier today. Thank you I'm here with you too.

Not always physio.... my fnd is physical from a virus that i had 6 month after giving birth 9 years ago.... so can be both and to me 7 years to get diagnosed xxxx

There's likely a physical trigger, I think for me, but symptoms started over 12 years ago and the number of IRL stressors were so numerous I couldn't say which one really started symptoms. I hope you can find peace 🕊️

I’ve been newly diagnosed it’s been very tough and my symptoms are so different. Mobility is the main issue some days are ok then other days I can barely move. How are you feeling now? Are you feeling better?
@aninverseАй бұрын
@@Moose185 I am sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed. This disorder is turbulent but on average I am better. Better by way of fully adopting a disabled lifestyle in order to reduce symptoms. I hope you can find a balance of medication and occupational therapy to reduce suffering.

That's right. I don't know if that's something that would show in an MRI.
