The present video shows a 13 studs Lego Technic axle with suspension, steering and diff-lock which fits for most of the Lego Technic wheels. The diff-lock works pneumatically. Enjoy the video!

"Optimed steering linkage"Also adds ackermann steering, which is nice

yes, it is a wellcome side benefit. Therefore, the steering linkage needs alwas to be placed behind the axle.

Thanks. Your Zetros does also have 13 Studs axles or 15 studs?

The way you count my front axle is 11 stud wide. The rear axle is 13 studs wide. As I use planetary gears I need one stud less than with the wheel hubs.

After building it, I can tell it is very good. Everything works really well. Only hard thing is getting good suspension on the front axle, but that I can figure it out

functional Technic yeah that works but it’s making good linkages and getting both axles for drive and steering to the middle of chassis that I struggle with.

thanks, it works well but it needs a lot of space. For big tires its is fine, for small one the suspesnsion is to large. but the axle can also be used without supension

@@functionalTechnic I don't know in which scale is this differential 1:10, 1:9 or something else, but I prefer 1:8 scale or even bigger like 1:6 scale of the real car. I'm curently building a lamborghini aventador 1:6 scale ( 80cm long) and I'm excited to see it drive since I'm testing the endurance of technic pieces. So this design of yours can be tremendously helpful and be used as a parking brake to lock the differential of a car so it doesn't move while being placed uphill or downhill. :)

Hi, thanks. There was a concept for a truck but it didn't work. I wanted to build an amphibious craft but the truck faild but not the axles. Therefore, I shared them here and rebuilt the amphibious craft with new axles. the present model does have idependend suspension also with diff-lock. I hope that it will work this time
