When you don't understand a situation, don't let the voice of bitterness take over. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you peace in your heart (to be able to listen to God's voice) and ask him for the root of the problem. I did that and once I discovered the root of a particular problem which was getting worse and worse over the years in spite of me "believing in Jesus", it opened the door to a whole new world of revelations (the root was so much not what I expected!!). Suddenly I started understanding the reasons for many other problems I was encountering. I understood my past and why things had gone so wrong, and also, I started to see the truth in God's word. Do not give up until you see the root of your problem, but mostly be prepared for an answer you did not expect in the first place. It is the narrow gate.
