Thank you Dr. Sharon. I passed my Nclex today in 85 questions on my first try because of you. I reviewed my school PowerPoints and found your videos on KZbin. I had scheduled my nclex for October, setting 1 month period for studying. But your strategies gave me so much confidence that l rescheduled exam 20 days earlier. If the patient is a fall risk I was told to keep assistive devices out of sight as it might encourage them to get up and they could fall.

I’m having a hard time agreeing with the anticoagulants question only because we are always suppose to assess IV site. So why wouldn’t that maximize care? It’s definitely part of safety against phlebitis. Just my thoughts.

An example of containing is closing the door to avoid the fire coming out. Or if for example the fire is in the trash can, closing the Luxor the trash can. I hope this helps
