As someone who lives in stoke on Trent i love seeing vlogs of my local places so i was interested to see one from theme park worldwide at a place that i live like 10 minutes from and go to all the time im always going to central forest park especially when there are events on like this. Love watching theme park worldwide so seeing you guys coming here was a great watch.

Grew up in this area. Stanworths have operated forest park for the entirety of my life (I'm now 47). During the late 70s and throughout the 80s, the fair was built up across the 3 car park sections. Good to watch them building up and pulling down the rides as a kid. They had an upright paratrooper (made by AMECO - replaced soon after by a Hrubetz lifting type - not the one they own now). A Ski Jump flying coaster (Pollard maybe..). A Scrambler (Eli Bridge). Waltzers (Maxwell I think). Dodgems, 3 or 4 juvenile rides, 2 amusement arcades, ghost train and a variety of midway games. And these weird human powered cage swing things lol. Awsome fair. Love your work Shawn.

I remember Miami as a child before I rode it, I used to go down and watch it being built, thinking one day I will be old/tall enough to go on that ride, I remember the first year I rode it, beforehand I was at home standing on my table jumping off it trying to mimic the sensation to prepare myself for it, o childhood memories, nothing beats them.

If you like fun fairs there's a big one in neath every september it's there about a week and the whole town centre there are hundreds of stalls with various foods and items

Down here in North London we have a massive event on every year in May at Enfield called car pageant from classic to modern cars motorbikes, motorbike stunt shows, mini fun fairs loads of food outlets autojumble at the same time we have loads of epic fun fairs in Essex too because of the covid19 restrictions they've been completely cancelled just for this year which is sad as we wanted to somehow help and support them, however so far we've managed to somehow support the farms and zoos too which is great 🤗 As for you and Charlotte That's really kind and very thoughtful of you both trying to support many theme parks fun fairs zoos and sealife well done to you both 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

If you enjoyed the Booster ride here, just wait until you ride the version in the Swiss traveling fairs! It is a similar ride called Maxximum 2 or Maxximum Energy. The difference is that this one is so much better. It has an extra axis of rotation and the ride vehicles flip freely depending on the weight of the people riding. The ride stays upside down while dropping back towards the ground, and it is the craziest sensation you will get probably on any ride! If you are ever in Switzerland any time where there is a fair, you gotta check out Maxximum Energy!!!

I’m down in London and there’s a fun fair (I don’t know what it’s called). And we passed by and we could see a freak out and a booster and all the lights were on. And then we passed by again later when it was dark and it was so cool because the lights were off so you could just see the silhouettes of the rides

Very muddy park, shame about that for all the mess and experience. Laughed so much at you on the tiny coaster.... You seriously do anything or a cred!! 😂😂 I'm not really a fan of fairgrounds as much as theme parks as flats are my least favourite. Although do have good memories of hoppings where I rode a rare tobbogan ride(truly awful experience but funny🥴)
