Nice review Mark I wasn’t able to attend this time but as you know my son Lloyd was there. Me and my wife have been investing since the fund started and the rest of our family also, so we are big fans of Fundsmith and very grateful to Terry and the team for doing such a stirring job over the years. Thank you for the support Tom. Yes it was nice to bump into Lloyd and chat awhile. You’ve had a great journey since the Fund started at 100.00. I first invested at 164.64 thinking I may have missed a lot of the action. Today it stands at 707.4 If you can attend the Bristol seminar I am sure it will be time well spent.

I agree Mark I find it very useful to have something relevant to benchmark against how my self- managed portfolio is doing. The principles of investing are the same as you say, the strategies can be different and not everyone in the market is playing the same game.

In Fundsmith I am benchmarking myself against one of the best David. There is no shame in trying to learn from others, be that professionals or other private investors. "If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants."
