This reminds me of the ambushes of the officers walking up the sidewalk in Pittsburgh, PA; and the officers in Palm Springs also walking up the sidewalk. Double the NYPD force from 36,000 to 72,000. Add psychological/social services to the 19,000 civilian support force to 40,000. The money is there. It is the WILL and INTEGRITY of the elected officials. The public must demand it.
