Many of the rioters and looters that were in Detroit... weren't from there.. hell many of them weren't from the surrounding suburbs either. It took years for Detroit to start to recover from the riots that happened in the 60s. For decades that city was forgotten and taken advantage of. they have slowly been recovering for the last 20 years but it has been a slow process... the people there don't want that to happen again. Most of them weren't even born when that happened but have suffered for years. And then outsiders come in and try to create havoc and chaos on them again.

The looting and anything to do with that , is totally irrelevant to the real issue. Both the looting and the speeches on it are all cleverly designed to divert and distract from the real issue of need of reforms in police procedures in USA so these brutal inhumane so called "modern policing techniques" like knee on neck are removed from the police procedures manuals and trainings.
