Once the tapes are turned off on the 12th or April what plans are in place for the city to be able to keep running? Another great video! - Thomas 😀

3 years of record low rainfall. Municipality having no control over the dams (thats government juristiction) and permissions for alternate water sources denied. so no control over anything to do with water. And in general an attitude from the population of "it could never happen to me" Low rainfall has put us in a crisis municipality vs government games have prevented us from fixing the crisis. Populations attitude has exacerbated the crisis. (70% of households are still well over the daily limits)

Loved the Dolphins - that was awesome! And your friend did a great job on your dreads!!! Better than the last couple people who did them. Maybe you were only having partials done last time?? Oh and having them trimmed was definitely a good idea. They have a fresh, clean cut look. I would definitely recommend her 👍

As always, great Cape Town footage. I am going there in April so cant wait to see what you can give us as information about the water shortage and Day Zero. It will be my 5th visit now and kinda worried how this will affect my joy staying there. Also staying in Hermanus, and according to friends there they say its not as worse as in Cape Town, maybe clarify why that is? And also how people have to deal with showering/toilet visits etc. Just the daily nesesities.

There is an interesting article “Why Cape Town is running out of Water and who’s next” online for National Geographic. Give it a read, answers some questions and you may be surprised by some of the reasons, mainly people ignoring the situation and use as much water as they want. Doubtful of a conspiracy but more of decisions made to little and too late. On a lighter note love the video and the great composition of sunset and subject. Good lucky and pray for rain 😇
