Dear Louis, I'm from Pakistan and been following your channel since a very long time in fact while browsing the internet randomly many months ago I stumbled upon Ben's channel and that is how I got here. I'd like to take this moment to officially thank you for the effort that you put in and make your videos day in and day out without expecting any rewards in return, all you ask for are likes and subscribes which in comparison are nothing for people like us. I'd like to thank you for being so selfless and giving the people of the world a journey into different cultures and their intricacies without putting any barrier on race, creed or age. In time I've personally come to feel that you are the true definition of the word "Momin" (Arabic) or at the very least embody what Allah teaches and aspires a Momin to be in the Holy Quran. I'd also like to thank you for giving the people of the world who are not sound enough economically, the first hand experience of what it would be like to go to their favorite places across the world and what it would be like for them to be there in that moment. You Louis have a big heart and the world would certainly have been a much much better place had we more people like you in it. At the end I would like to thank you once again and pray that you remain steadfast in what you do and believe in. I will be praying for your success in life and whatever it is that you may do. something I love about these videos that people don't mention is the way that I don't think I've ever heard Louis complain about spending time editing. I get why he sometimes moans about upload times as that is time spent wasted for him, but he never complains about having to edit yet another video. Even on occasions where he mentions how he only got 4 hours sleep the night before he doesn't moan about it. I imagine each one takes ages to make and some people who spend less than an hour filming and editing a video will moan before he does. Thanks for that man!

Chinese people are very big on community lifestyle so gardens are normally shared by many houses and therefore communal areas. It's why most doors in villages are always open for neighbours to walk in and out ad lib. :D welcome to Chinese culture haha!

Wasn't sure at first but I definitely went there in 2012!! There are residents there so you're not supposed to go into their gardens because those aren't for tourists (I think....because we tried to avoid going into their homes)
