You should just edit a small amount each day, maybe complete a video once every 3-5 days or so, or just when ever you can without loosing much sleep; then catch up at the end of it all. There's no point ruining the experience for yourself, we'll still watch it when it's up

That last "live the adventure" Louis didn't look too sure if he really wanted to live this adventure. He really needs to find a editor who he can send his footage to and they can edit it for him when he does trips like this cause the poor guy is struggling. Keep your shirt on then you won't have to wear sun cream or get sunburn.

The problem is that sending all the raw video clips would require having super duper fast internet, which you can't rely on while traveling. Unless there's some other option I hadn't thought of. I guess you could copy them to a USB drive and mail them to someone. That's a more practical option. When you have 50 raw clips that might be 10-20 gigabytes or more, it's impossible to upload all those files with slow internet speeds. Or else it would use up a lot of data which would be expensive. But yeah, if he could pass on the editing to someone else somehow that would be way preferable for a trip like this. It's pretty insane otherwise.

Stay strong, you are doing some big milage for someone who's not trained for it. Cycle touring, is an amazing way to travel, hope the crazy miles you are doing don't put you off trying it again at a more leisurely pace.

Hey Louis I am loving following your trip, I am a good friend of Andy Smith, regenerate and many of the boys on the trip and have kicked myself everyday for not coming with Gareth and Russ for the trip to the south of france. Just wanted to say that the fact your completing th trip and editing your own vlogs is amazing achievement.....just the ride alone beggers belief. i had a tube explode when i did the seattle to portland. our best guess was the tube go stuck between the rim and tire so once it was pressurized it just went boom.

I don't know much about trikes. Dave has 2 wheels forward, 1 on the back. You have 1 wheel forward and 2 on the back. What is the difference? Are there benefits one over the other?

I feel like it would be a good idea to just do live videos regularly, and wait til after the trip to focus on edits like what was the case for the rickshaw run, while you let yourself do no physical activity for a good long while lol. There shouldn't be any worry or pressure to create and upload tho... it should be a joy tbh, not stressful and ungrounded. If you're bringing all the worry and feeling pressed to perform basically... while putting your wellbeing second, or other.. that's like any other job / standard job mentality. You deserve to be able to be centred and feel inspired, and then do your thang. You'll enjoy it more, that will likely be evident in what is produced, people mainly will understand, appreciate and enjoy.. You deserve to be WELL though, yanno? This is not a job, this is a livelihood

Vilver II Me no... It is already dangerous riding on the road by bike, with all cars literally shaving your two wheeled vehicle. Go figure how dangerous is on a low profile bike. I am scared of what could happen to Louis in big african cities on wuth their traffic... Country roads are sure lesser dangerous...
