I really enjoyed Fungaium! I read it along with other mycological texts around 2 years ago❣️ I haven’t read the others in the museum series yet. Maybe in Nonfiction November?! Wonderful to hear your thoughts on Fungarium! All of the Welcome to the Museum books are so beautiful. Aliya Whitley's Secret of Funghi is the book I would recommend for anyone new to the world of funghi - it branches into so many topics related to funghi and mushrooms without going too much into depth and I personally found it to really capture the fun and wonder of funghi. These books look beautiful! I'd be very impressed to see a kid reading a book like this too. It reminds me of when I collected a bunch of books about Ancient Egypt when I was a child. I even had more "adult" books about the subject. I'm also doing a bit of calligraphy. Your insta posts are inspiring to me!

Thank you 😊 I love all the different inks we have to choose from, and maybe one day I'll learn not to get inky fingers 😄 The one thing I thought of now is that a lot of the text is small, and again, that feels more like for adults. I'm definitely going to try another book in the series.
