1:24 You guys are the first people I've seen bring this up. I've seen lots of non-Asian men make fun of Asian men as being undesirable, because they see Asian women reject Asian men in favor of other men. So thanks to that, Asian men get a lot of disrespect from other men
@Revenger3rdUnit2 жыл бұрын
Majority of Asian women are with Asian men. Majority of Asian women in mixed race relationships are average to below average in looks in my view. Asian men get disrespect because we are kind, safe and good hearted people therefore seen as easy targets. They are just puzzies at the end of the day picking on who they perceive as weak but Asians are strong and don't need to brag as we are humble people.

As an asian guy who's also short, dark-skinned and rough-looking, it took me more time to date successfully cuz I had to build up the other factors that made me more attractive: body, money, fashion, social skills, etc. Yeah its more work than my non-asian counterparts but the way I see it, there's no downside to being a better version of myself. My personal controversial take from watching black and latino men, whom asian women typically want where I'm from, I lacked a masculine frame due to how I was raised: being assertive and leading the interaction. Not sure if its an asian culture, but I was conflict-avoidant and never pushed back when I lived with my parents which translated to my interactions with other people. Also acted goofy all the time, I think its hard to build sexual tension when I was making jokes all the time.

Being an Asian man we are still at the bottom of the barrel,the Asian females even rejected us. I’m no exception I approached an Asian female and got humiliated in front of her friends. The funny thing was while that was happening, there was this tall beautiful blonde Caucasian woman walked up to me and walked up to me hugged me and whispered to me” Sweetie it’s her loss and I want you!”and kissed my cheek and grabbed my hand, and said to the Asian female “Sorry ladies but he’s taken!” That blonde female is now my wife and we have two beautiful children together now. For me it was also difficult to find Asian females because I’m 6’6’ 193 pounds. My wife is also quite tall herself she’s 5’9’ that’s what attracts her the most, she said she’s always been attracted to Asian men but was never approached by one. So when she noticed that when witnessed I was being humiliated in the crowds she took the courage to approach me and I’m so glad that she did. My wife speaks Fluent Mandarin, Spanish,English and French now she’s also learning my language which is Khmer or Cambodian.

@henrytep88842 жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s a tough one, plastic surgery plus make up. It’s a zero sum game, in fact society might be better if we promoted the natural looks Vs the perfect look. What I mean by zero sum is that it causes people to spend money on aesthetics, which overall is a zero sum game because we already spend enough on aesthetics whether through clothing and make up, so it exacerbates the problem when people on average have to spend more money to be superficial, or conform to a new more expensive social norm to maximize their chances for mating preference, or even landing a job. This is amplified by the fact that housing is more expensive and inflation is higher, so we already have fewer dollars available to spend on discretionary.

@@mrt445 To say it's just white people is dismissive. It's the western experience, so that applies to any person raised and nurtured in the Western world, black, asian, white and latino, etc. included. I think it's dishonest to think that not one Asian has thought about his masculine identity growing up. Toughness and acceptance of it comes later, but when you're young, it's not immediately like that so you do care. About my second comment, I wasn't referring to Asians specifically in terms of online dating and messaging but its entirety. The victim mentality of the Fung Bros and of these comments is mind blowing. Never, EVER have I accepted that I am any less than anyone else, or allowed any “disadvantages” related to my race to hold me back. Here are a few points: 1. I’m dating hot white girls left and right, with literally no problems, so stop making excuses for yourself. In fact, I often feel bad for having to reject many of them and breaking their hearts. I’ve never let my race define me, nor have I acted with any insecurity because of it, NOR have any of the women treated me differently because of it. So if you go into the game with a victim mindset or inferiority complex, you’re setting yourself up for failure to begin with. Sure I’m a tall, good looking, successful Asian guy, so I’ll admit that it all helps, all of those traits will help ANY man, not just an Asian one. 2. Your failures are just because you suck, stop attributing it to your race, it’s insulting to the rest of us. Short men of other races don’t have much better luck, okay? BUT women like a well rounded man, so if you’re working with certain shortcomings, such as being unattractive or short, then work on your positive traits. 3. Lastly, the world in changing. Whether it’s mainstream western media or the propagation of Asian media into the west, we have a lot more visibility now. As an Asian guy in the west, you’re dealing with more helpful constitutions than ever before, so stop making excuses for yourself. If you’re not having luck, then go work on yourself and see where you can improve. As a side point, I’m helping you guys out too okay, by showing everyone how great it is to date and Asian guy, and by showing them that we have big wieners.

Asian guys need to start just thinking of themselves as a guy first (gender over ethnicity) before anything else. Yes we all have our ethnic labels in our case Asian. However as a guy you need to first get on your purpose and gain confidence and work on the image you want to project. For some it will take more work than others. Women want to be with a guy (any ethnicity) that other women want to be with. Stop comparing yourself with others and focus on yourself and what you can do for yourself. Do not let the media dictate your success or lack of it. Know where you will be the most successful in relationships. Asian males are like fine wine. We become more appealing as we get older. For now, get a good job, work hard and take care of your health, the girls will come when you are around your mid 30s. My theory why Asian men are more appealing at a later stage is that we age pretty well compared to white males and females. Remember those white studs from school, look at most of them now, their looks have gone downhill and probably look as old as your father. While most of us Asian men look like they just finished university. We will hopefully have a great job and be yourself and the girls will come. Girls do dig mature men. To those self hating Asian women, who cares about them, there are many other Asian and non- Asian women out there just waiting for you. I wont worry too much if you not popular with the ladies at your young age, things will balance out when you get older. As you get older, you may even get a plus compared to other races. I am a 50 year old average joe who often gets mistaken for a 35+ yr old. I have a better dating life now (after my divorce) then when i was in my 20s and early 30s.

I feel there's much more to the nature of the dynamics if dating really. I feel that gender idenetus and preference has change so much. Reading through a lot of profiles of other women theres a lot of negative experiences with men as to heterosexual women and a large handful are more intrested in friendships and or others finding themselves curious and intrested in the same sex. Very ibtresting and the last profile where its screams that all her relationships men she hated! And wants to explore being honosexual. So I feel it's more complex and not this shallow and dehumanizing subject of race statisticvdating scale. As and adult myself I discovered as of late, my lack of interest as to not the dating part but being sexually attracted and active I've always questioned myself since a teen and although being hetero the connection to another level was different. But I later understood myself as to being asexual. Something not anyone heard about. Wish I knee sooner and my spectrum type. I'm totally relived and elated!!❤ I feel that it's just people have more choices and where to connect it. As being female I understand that womens mindset is not so primal as men into being in a relationship just to have sex and the function of our bodies. Watched some intresting videos on women amd men's bodies amd other details. I love science and it's really fascinating how complex biology truly is. By far- in digressing- a lot of complains come from women on these dating apps on how men seem to either treat dating like a sport for sex and only seem to care oy about that- just a lot of complaints and frustrations. I'm sometimes think this maybe a bad sign lol. No matter what who you want to be with should be above aex amd our shallow nature and connection is the foundation to form the network if an ideal relationship. But when it comes to people I'm kind of dark minded, I will be so surprised if we go extinct sooner than theory. We are just a complicated mess out of ever other species. From race to failing relationship, petty skirmishes leading to domestic violence..I almost feel relationships are too dangerous to even want to be in. So much toxcicty. I only honestly feel sorry for children. Never asked for the cruelty and UNORTHODOX nature from their parent's distorted relationship.

Chinese Australian here, interesting observation I have is that in Australia, second generation Asian Australian seems to be much harder to find a girl friend due to their Asian counter part being so white washed and would date anyone. Fob Chinese guys seems to have it much better, because their fob Asian counter part seems to be less likely to date outside their race. Also if the fob Asian girl comes from a city in Asia where it was colonized by foreign power, they tend to have a higher preference for foreign men instead of their own. The key factor here is how much Asian pride these girls have. In some situations it's far easier for second generation Asian men to date outside their race with another ethnic race or a European race without their closet colonial pride. Even in the instances a second generation Asian male is able to find a second generation Asian female, it tends to be that the male is better looking than the counterpart, meaning the guy has to use his sexual market margin value as a security to hold on to their counterpart.

Sure, some Asian American women don't end up with Asian American men, but y'all are only 5% of the US population. Over half of AA women marry AA men, whereas it should be only 5% if they only liked you as much as other men. This means they have a more than 10x preference for AA men! Stats don't show white women preferring white men at that high a margin. As a whole group East asian men in the U.S do have a problem getting with women but Indian men do not because marriage stats which actually are facts that includes the whole population shows Indian men in the U.S are married more then Indian women by 10k and slightly marry out more too. But East asian men in the U.S are much less married then East asian women for each of the main East asian groups and it would be 500k or more less married if you include all East asian groups which means they have problem getting women in general since many East asian women obviously do not want to get with East asian men. The biggest difference for total marriages between men and women for a specific East asian group in the U.S is with Filipinos where Filipino women are married more by 168k then Filipino men, followed by Korean where the women are married more by 85k more.
@inumusha71082 жыл бұрын
I don't know where you get that stats from. According to the latest data from dating apps like OKCupid, Indian men are ranked the lowest, even below East Asian men. Many Indian American and other westernized Indian women in countries like the UK (and there are plenty of KZbin videos on these) don't even want to date Indian men but prefer exclusively white men. There was a KZbin video that showed an above average Indian guy could not even compete with an average white guy on dating apps in the US.
@kwolf21452 жыл бұрын
@@inumusha7108 I love that you brought up OkCupid because it proves that your source is total BS. Dating app data which there is not much of anway generally does not have substance, especially OkCupid which would only include a tiny percent of single people and the data is B.S because it's based on "Quickmatch" scores which is something that the site creates based on your profile and doesn't mean girls actually like you. 92% of Indian women in the U.S are married to Indian men which is a fact that includes the whole population unlike B.S dating apps with tiny samples so what you say it false and obviously some will date out, but it's not many and Indian guys are married 10k more then Indian women so Indian guys don't have issues getting women in general like East Asian guys do who are much less married then East asian women. You're pointing to dating app data and KZbin videos which have no substance to make claims which is pathetic. Also the average white guy has problems getting women and is constantly whining about it whether it's incel, mgtow, red pill or blackpill guys hence why you have hundreds of dating channels for men and we know that is there is a 50% divorce rate and white men have the highest rate, also marriages are going down and many relationships are dysfunctional even if they are with women. The internet is full of white guys whining about women and about not getting women.

I would suggest taking a page out of Black America’s playbook. If you can’t be accepted by the mainstream, disregard it and make your own culture with your own notions of what is sexy and what isn’t. Just stop worrying about white people and being accepted by them. Sooner or later white people will get curious and want to colonize whatever you’re doing. This also includes sexually fetishizing you, which will ultimately trickle down to people being open to dating you without any weird racial factors. (But the racial fetishization never goes fully away) Also lean more into Japanese and Korean aesthetics, not telling anyone to mute their culture, but China is so over represented in Asian American media. Most people “like Asians” they just don’t like China due to a myriad of reasons. Let China and Chinese stories take a backseat for a while and diversify out to other East Asian cultures and south eastern Asian cultures. However, I think the biggest issue and why Asian Americans probably won’t take a page out of Black peoples hand book is that it’s too difficult to do that when most of your group is comprised of first generation immigrants. Immigrants of any ethnicity to any country have a survival mode mentality. Maybe if there were more Asian “expats” that would change. And another reason is that while Asian men might not be desired Asian women are, and many seem A-Ok with leaving their Asian brothers behind. Black people were collectively rejected from mainstream society and built their community together. (In spite of how bad Black men who date outside their race often degrade Black women, but that’s a different topic concerning a different issue) Ultimately, While I won’t say I “feel sorry” for Asian men, because everyone can make their own choices about how to present themselves I will say that I find it unenviable and quite peculiar how not only are you dealing with bs from other races but your own women are often in on it as well. Madness

China definitely isn't overrepresented in Asian American media. There are more Chinese Asians in America obviously but media-wise Japanese Anime and Korean TV shows/films clearly dominate in the west and are preferred by not just Asians. China had the Hong Kong film industry which was successful internationally but it's no longer what it used to be. Regarding Asians building a new community/culture within America like blacks did that would be extremely difficult at this point in time because you have to be segregated from whites and other races to achieve this. Also black culture has become mainstream because they essentially created the majority of music genres in America and they dominate most sports. Asians would have to dominate a specific part of popular culture to successfully create their own which would be extremely difficult to do. Also there aren't enough Asians within America to do this and they're far too diverse coming from different parts of Asia to view themselves as all the same. Also with an extremely high interracial marriage rate amongst Asians (including the men) this won't be possible achieve over time.

@@mrt445 perhaps it’s just my opinion then. But I do think that Shang Chi would have been more accepted by non Asian viewers if it had been centered around a Korean and or Japanese character and story. I feel like the issue is often split up into two fronts, more representation in media and getting non Asians (see white people) to sleep with Asian males. (Over simplification, yes, but the main focus ALWAYS seems to be on women and dating more than how other men of different races see Asian males). While Asians can’t directly control how other races choose to view them, I feel like media could be influenced more easier. And a lot of Asian American made media (anime and K-pop are foreign influences from different societies and backgrounds) seems to focus around Chinese Americans and their experience. (And the strict parent trope as well) But Shang Chi wasn’t created by Asian Americans and it’s just an example. But look at Crazy Rich Asians. I’m not saying ignore all Chinese stories, but perhaps try playing up to “trends” if one of the goals is to get non Asians (aka white people, because it’s ALWAYS white people that Asians seem to care about impressing) to “care about” or acknowledge you.

It's a shame to hear about this. I can't comment to this as it seems that Canada (Montreal) even with all the ethnical problems we have gone and still going through (as a pro immigration country), I find that we have less of that issue here (based on my Asian friends). The only comment I could give is that many were residing in ethnic enclaves (china town) and were not interacting with their neighbour as much as others that have put certain limitations. But what broke the mold here in our perspective (as a Caucasian) is the mass influx of Vietnamese immigrants here during their war. As I grew up Asians (mostly Viet's as they were the majority here, second was the Chinese ) their presence here was on par with everyone else. Maybe it's our European back ground that makes us different but the buffed up look or the k-idol look is not an issue here.
