@Abhilash N I'm not sure if you're still doing it or have already killed it but I know this sounds dumb but I read somewhere that it's easier to just take off all armour to run passed all the enemies and then fight him - I beat him with no armour on, it was super easy to dodge his shit, hopefully maybe summon one npc so it's not too difficult.

Simpleton's ring is actually really useful as it gives you adaptability which in turn gives you poise and agility for i-frames.

It is a good idea in my opinion to skip the first "witch" near the first bonfire at top so you have enough wedges for those 4 who buff Fume.

holly shit! got scholar of the first sin a few days ago. started doing the dlc but got stuck and basically haven't killed one boss yet :D this video helped a LOT!. ....now to find all the witches.

Holy shit... It took me 20 attempts to kill the Fume Knight. It was fucking impossible as a pure sorcerer. I had to soul vessel into a knight and use the grand lance. I got greedy on the last attempt, but managed it.

Indeed is hard, I used unleash magic that takes out some HP and boost magic damage. Farmed the blue dagger from the black sorcerer with daggers and electric attack, that boost casting damage (it says it boost magic but I tried it with piromancy and boost them as well) Some herbs, crystal spears or regular magic spears, and only attack after dodging, only 1 spell per time. Long but easy, but with a magic fast weapon with crystal weapon infused is way faster. Some casting speed like ring and gear and good to go

thx for the reupload but there is a wall that can be crushed with a barrelholding minion, containing the 8 bones. its in the area with the spiked walls + firebreathing statues + casters/one big guy. But nevertheless, this vid is much more detailed then your last one, keep up the good work.

Don't melt the first idol. If you're playing many characters and other games, and you advanced a lot in Brume, you could very easily forget what idol is your last. Leaving the first one since its close to bonfire assures you wont be running all the tower again looking that last one.

Very cool guide, but there is one thing you forgot to mention - gauntlets and leggings of Catarina Set. You can find them hidden behind the corridor wall on the way to the tower with the scorching iron scepter.

To elaborate on previous comment 4 years ago (shrugs) the simpleton ring adds 5 ADP. Not agility, just ADP. Just like the strength, Dex, int,etc adds 5 points

Just a PSA, you need to kill the samurai boss at 11:14 and claim the final smelter wedge on his throne before completing the optional area at 10:10

For me, Maldron started running after damaging me pretty well. So, I drank some from the estus flask before starting to run after him. Immediately after I started running, I saw the message "Maldron the assassin has been vanquished". I guess he probably got fed up and jumped from the stairs or something.

I know this video is pretty old but for anyone struggling with the assassin there is an easy way to deal with him. Use the seed of a tree of giants. It makes the monsters attack the invaders and since the Maldron escapes to the bottom of the tower he will be greeted by a numerous welcoming commitee xD [The seed can be found in the forest of giants]

Dragonmots you have to beat the boss with the fat sword away from the witches ... try pulling him away so his health won't regenerate .... you'll get the last one after beating the next boss with the skinny sword. you will find it in a room in his throne.

The fight with the five prowlers is a great time to try and farm the mad warrior set, I just got the leggings with no item discovery buffs. Only if you use high equp load though, it looks really cool but it weighs a ton, definitely in the heavy armor category. The sword is pretty dexent too but personally id swap it for another better katana if you want to keep the look but get more bang for your buck(but hey what do I know, Im running hexes/strength rn and Ive never farmed the full set). Im not sure if you use ascetic if you can get them to respawn but I dont see why not, otherwise the only other place to grind for the set is in Belfry Sol there is a small chance for one of them to spawn in the back left corner, Ive heard of people getting everything in two hours and horror stories where it takes multiple game sessions over weeks(like any random drop). At least when you kill them in Belfry Sol you progress the Bellkeepers covenant which you need for all spells or pyromancies(cant remember which one they give you).

So i can't really tell how fast iam, i have the crowns, and try to search for the dlc bosses left by Eleum Loyce. İ will level up too and farm dragon bones, with them i will level up my boss weapons, than defeat dark lurker and finally starting game + but i will left maughlin alive for the set, than i will finish it due to a glitch and also game ++ than, i will buy the spells and pyro from the invisible dude in the Castle, after that i will have no qlue.

For the end boss in the SK u need level 40 healt and 15 adp is makeable, but for the end boss of İK u need 30 adp with 46 Vitality, and the adp is still slow, so 36 must be good. The ivory was the quickest, ava was thankfully near the BF and the king was also near.

If I hadn't already played and beat this level and was watching this video as a newbie, I'd be totally confused and lost. The narration combined with footage that is a combination of relevant footate and footage of the level already played and cleared is totally strange. I don't know how ANY new player, with no experience with this level, could make any sense of this. I know it's way too late to offer suggestions for recording/editing -- but the video could certainly benefit from having only ONE style of footage -- either the playthrough being referenced by the narration (meaning, a playthrough representing a first playthrough -- with all the referenced NPCs and elements as they would appear if you were first playing through)... or have all the footage be from an already cleared playthrough (not ideal). Being consistent is key -- bouncing between the two is the confusing part. That said... having already played through this section I found the video to be highly entertaining and enjoyed it very much. So... you at least have a "win" with the "already played" crowd. Thanks for posting this... even if I am ten years late to the game. HA!
