King Umberto I exposed himself risk typhus/cholera epidemics to stay closer to suffering Neapolitans ("finally a king willing to die among us!") King VE III being born in Naples knew a bit of Neapolitan himself King Umberto II set his family in naples as crown prince and during his one month reign before the exile even his controversial son Victor Emmanuel (self proclaimed IV) last Prince of Naples asked his ashes to be mixed with a bunch of neapolitan land.
