@@balkloth what are you talking about? i own a analog camera from 81 with film, it wasn't "wildly expensive" to get. also, many people use the word "filming" to describe recording in general, like when people say "band-aid" to describe all adhesive bandages. it's _technically_ wrong, but the natural development of language usually doesn't care.

it's not that hard if your video editor shows audio waveforms because usually the beat is loud. what I do is put bookmarks every couple of beats and adjust clips from there

Pyongyang and other hub cities are having an architectural rebirth right now, I think it's Pheongs DPRK Daily is the KZbin channel (sorry if I misspelled that it's off the dome) and they get the press clippings from the dprk about new advancements around the country like new apartments and skyscrapers being built, it's def worth a watch. The channel is really interesting as it's run by a DPRK expat currently living in Germany, so they're very knowledgeable.

I feel so patriotic after hearing this song even though am not a North Korean and didn't understand anything. But the way she sings, is definitely enthralling moved me to tears. This is the most North Korean thing I have ever seen till date.

As a Russian, I also find it quite native to me. Well, North Korean music has taken a lot from music of Soviet Union, maybe that's why it often has such motifs.
