Joking aside, *this* is exactly why Sukuna is the King of Curses. Hes going through this era’s literal strongest while just having fun and savouring the thrill of battle. The main cast is fighting for their lives, while for Sukuna, this is just a normal Tuesday. To think that he’s still this strong while using a nerfed vessel, imagine if this was his Heian Era body where he wouldn’t need to worry about his soul being separated from his vessel, his CE wouldn’t be fluctuating and limited, on top of having his cursed tools. Overpowered antagonist done right, in my opinion. Aside from Gojo, nobody ever felt like a threat to him, even against Yuta and Yuji in the domain, I never once got the impression that he was truly cornered or in danger.

They arent a major threat to him… atleast he doesnt think so. Gojo was around on par with him, his domain was equal to sukuna’s, and he wiped out mahoraga and hit 4 Black flashes total. He also hit unlimited void, etc. Sukuna had never experienced a fight like that. Yuji is weak compared to Gojo, but that’s the point. They’re forcing sukuna to go easy as to not kill Them all instantly, and thus they are wearing him Down and wearing him out, forcing his CE and focus to drop immensely via barraging him with different sorcerers so he cant adapt to one ability. Yuji hits as many Black flashes as possible, todo breaks sukuna’s focus, yuta gives sukuna many things to keep in mind and adapt to (which wont matter, aka he’s wasting sukuna’s memory), kashimo just… y’know, kashimo kashimo’d, Gojo weakened sukuna to some degree (killed mahoraga + made sukuna fry his own brain via spamming RCT and domain expansion) etc.

Kashimo is still impressive as hell in that moment. That Sukuna should realistically be stronger than the 10-40% Sukuna that fought Yuji and Maki in the Culling Games. The only reason he didn’t do any better was because Sukuna’s Physical body in his incarnated form + his CE reinforcement makes him just as physically strong and fast as in the Gojo fight. Though later on he gets caught in Yuta’s Domain causing his output to take a nosedive + only having 50% of his total CE output
