This was one of the best interviews you have ever done...You asked all of the right questions and got answers so much closer to the truth...Everybody else hem and haw around the real shit and Jellybean went there on so many levels...The Time really should have world toured that thing with the "Original 7" I cant complain though because I saw them in concert 5 times before Purple Rain and yeah they were waaaaaaaaaaaay better in concert than they were in the movie...Kudos to you and Jelly Bean for letting me go back for just a little while.

One of the best interviews I have seen - great job of providing information clear and useful to the general fan as well as musician. And, importantly, you let the interviewee talk without interruption.

Jellybean, listening to this interview and the content you're sharing, hell, I didn't go through anything as the mirror man and backing vocals with Morris Day and the Time, that others within the organization/s hadn't gone through! In fact, I went through very little (compared to) you and the others!! As I listened to some of the situations and circumstances of the other musician/ artists, be they with Prince or The Time.... everyone within the organization has/had a story to tell. Right on Jellybean!....Great interview Scott!😎

Bean is right about the Pandemonium tour. I have the show that they did for Warner Bros in 1990, a show they did in England for the record and a 1991 show in Japan for it without Jam, Lewis and Jesse. It would have been a much bigger record had they toured it. They were incredible.

The time would been more talk about in respected slow jams songs with the uptempo songs if Alexander O'Neal was in grou6 he had the same style as Morris day cause they both were in the group Enterprise in 1977

I always wondered what is it like for the guys that were so close huge money, but never got it. I am sure Jellybean never got what he deserved for being a member of the Time, the Family or in Purple rain. Obviously Prince super rich, Jam and Lewis super rich, Morris getting paid. I wonder what Jellybean, Monte, Jerome, and Jesse really walked away with. Sounds like not much.
