"I'll give you love" is one great song. I love that song, and sad that she never got the promotion she deserved. The music industry(small letters) has killed more music than you can imagine. They have throttled our access to great music until technology came along. I am just discovering this wonderful woman Sue Ann. Thanks to you both for a great interview. #Respect

I love the version of "Still Waiting" that Sueann sang with Prince and that they recorded live at First Avenue. Her voice on that is beautiful. I'm a little confused by this interview. At one point she says Prince wanted her to play percussion in his band, but she didn't want to, and she didn't believe he was going to go anywhere and she eventually moved to LA. Then later she says that when Prince and Morris and the Mnpls people started making it, she felt left out and like they should have helped her out. But she was already in LA by then doing her own thing. So, it sounds like she sort of regretted leaving Minneapolis and not sticking around to see what would happen.

The SWEETEST. She saw me at Westlake I believe it was and she was recording there and I was recording an artist there. She shouted down the hall "What the hell you doing here!!!" I responded in kind and told her I was in cutting. She said "Come in here and listen to my record!! " I was BLOWN away!!! First because I didn't know her and second how cool was that!!!!? "Come listen to my record!!!" That was PAIN KILLER. AMAZING WOMAN AND TALENT. Way too real for the field. I love her to this day!!!

I still don't get why she was pissed with Prince especially since she didn't want to hear him on the radio anymore. He did do her a HUGE favor by asking her to open up for him at the Met.

Listen to Dr Susan Rogers , she was working pretty close to him and she seems to be the only one to know and comprehend why Prince sometimes was the way he was

If you like to get views on this video you need to shorten that one minute introduction down to 10 seconds. Cuz I'm not going to watch that and I just click you off
@FunknstuffNet2 жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear that but that is the format and it can be skipped. Ultimately it does not seem a steep ask for free. Also, intro is shorter for Part 2.
