Nice video... I started my collection about 4 years ago and I have 62 Pops in it (and around 15 on pre order) I usually buy them on Amazon Mexico (since I'm from Mexico) and I have had problems with the shipping just about twice... I started because I liked them and now I LOVE THEM, every time I get a new one I praise it, I see the box from every angle, I touch the Pop, I even smell it, I can't describe the experience... Nice to know there are more people in the world just like me hahaha

I have 200+ now, but have such a hard time getting the ones I want without spending a fortune. I have also recently been ripped off by an EBay Seller for 2 Plushies for my Special Needs 13 year old daughter. Trying to become ahead of the game, but it’s hard...just venting! Super late here but I’m new to collecting and the tip about starting w one kind of theme of pops is so true and helpful! I see so many KZbinrs w tons of different genres of pops and I know them and I’m like “omg I want them all”, then I get to a store and I’m overwhelmed cause idk where to start! I also surprisingly liked the tip about not storing them on the ground because I also see many youtubers do that too and it looks like no harm is being done but you bring up a good point about even if you don’t have pets or kids getting into the boxes there’s still those uncontrollable vermin! That thought had totally flew over my head! Definitely a helpful video! Thank you! 😊

Collecting funko pops is a love hate relationship, me and my wife are trying to calm down the collecting but it's a losing battle, theirs always a pop that we want lol!

I started collecting. Honestly, I’m keeping limited editions in the box and the others in and out for decoration. If it’s more common and not as rare, I feel like it’s fine. If it’s a limited, keep it safe. My first funko to start off collecting is the Coca Cola bear with the fockle coating all over. It’s a limited, so I’m keeping it in the box.

I tend to do inbox and out of box collections. I'll sometimes put them back in the box or take them out for display. That's why I love the boxes they come in. They're not sealed and you just take them out and or put them back in with out to many issues.

I don’t Collect one line and I flip them and I’ve been pretty successful so far! I started off with a very secure money situation though which could be why my method has worked. I Buy 2 of every good exclusive I find, keep one, sell one. I also go to as many cons as possible. I spend way too much money but I make it all back plus some. Helps justify spending so much on pops lol.

Just scored a HUGE HAUL of pop figures at a garage sale from an almost complete power ranger set to all teen titans and even including a hulkbuster. Total i got like 30 pops for 13 bucks soooooo happy lol

I'm from the UK and the place I have found most of my non-anime pops is Forbidden planet but I only found forbidden planet months after starting my collection. I mainly collect anime pops and My best source was HMV though I have found harder to find pops in just anime themed shops. Like AnimeZ in Newcastle (though they have very random stock) Tokyo Toys in Glasgow (again very random stock when it comes to pops but I found an almost impossible to find pop) The best shop I have been to is Gift dude in Cleethorpes he has most of the pops I have wanted and is willing to order pops in for people, I'm not local to him but he has an online store too that you can order from and he packages the pops well and protects the boxes really well though his stock is limited to what he ordered in like he usually only gets 6 or 12 of each kind, He sells a lot more than just anime stuff though.

One thing that’s sucks about exclusives is it’s hard to get all of them from a series. Some of them are just a different version of one of the common characters but sometimes it’s a completely different character and if you don’t have the store near you you aren’t able to get it! My Walmart never has many pops and almost never carries Walmart exclusives and I want the moon calf from Crimes of grindelwald soooo bad because I’m trying to collect all of the fantastic beasts pops. UGH

Great video. I needed to watch this before I started seriously collecting pops. I started with 2 pops (Jesse from Preacher and Scarecrow from Batman). For my birthday my fiancé bought me the 3 other characters in the preacher set. I had only those 5 for the longest and they've just been sitting on my desk (not near a window lol). But this month I decided to start collecting more. Now I have 27 total. I've just been buying what I like but after seeing your video I will now focus more on getting complete sets. It's kind of hard to keep up with new releases and buying ones for the collection. Since commons are so affordable how do you keep from buying a whole bunch every month? Do you have a specific budget each month/week when you buy them or do you just get them when you see one you want for a great deal? Anyways thanks for the info. I'm definitely subscribing. Keyenzo try purchasing them from Mercari, Poshmark, or Depop some of them are usually cheaper because they are used but you can still find new ones on these apps.

I'd say Hmv and Game but I've noticed The Entertainer does a few for £6.66 (mainly animation or Disney but sometimes marvel and star wars etc.) and b&m sell a lot of star wars and gaming pops for a fiver.
