So, in order to save the day... :P I'd say the gameplay starts at 8:03 with the appearance of Ms Granger on the board :)

@@Quackalope Hey, no apologies needed, I just noticed you mentioned someone in the comments section will do it, so I thought to myself, why not :) There is only one thing stopping me from getting into the funkoverse universe - miniatures' heads don't bob. The true reason, of course, is simply of financial nature - it's difficult to get a hold of anything in this god forsaken land of Croatia without paying an arm and a leg and a retina and a kidney in shipping fees. Our local stores (why plural, Kristijan, what's with the plural?) are... local. ;)

My wife and I started about a month ago having a unpluged time everyday and playing various games. As a 30 year miniatures gamer I love these funko figs and our whole family has been buying the regular figs for eachother last several years. Thanks for this entertaining play through. And yes Rick and Morty and HP are fam favs. Bravo! Sold!

Hey guys thanks for the play through. I saw some mistakes that do effect game play. Movement: when a wall extends over a space you can not move diagonal to that space. Visibility is obstructed also by the overextended walls. Also the Tokens you get for the Character pool they are not player specific. I know a lot of reviewers are still new to the game, but the first six pages of the rule book go over all basic and specific rules needed to play. I do agree though buying a 4pack and a 2 pack is a very good idea for a 3 on 3 character play. Drafting is also a good way to allow for more replayability.
@Quackalope4 жыл бұрын
Hey Dragon - thank you for watching and commenting on the mistakes we made! We did catch the mistake for movement during gameplay (Jan admitted he cheated once) and we talked about line of sight but might have judged the visibility wrong in some cases. We did not realize the tokens made a shared pool - most of our plays until now had been with one miniature at a time. We are working on getting better at on camera rules - it can be a lot to manage and mistakes you might not catching in a normal gameplay don't go away on a recording! Just believe we are working on it!

A ton more rules mistakes in this too, unfortunately. -When you collect a point token it goes to the top of your cooldown track. At the 4. -A downed character can't cash in on the flag, it has to be a standing character. -Both players should obviously have the same number of items. A well produced video, and I'm glad to see coverage of the game anyway.

You can’t start back at your opponent starting zone… if you look at the game card it reads you may choose to return one or more of the chosen characters to your starting area one is described on the card shaded in white for the white player and one is shaded and black for the black player they must go to their respective zones when capturing the flag and receiving the two points

I may be mistaken, but the tokens for your characters join a shared pool which you may use for all characters. It seemed that you were specifying which token was for which ability, but I don't think you do not need to worry about that. Enjoy the freedom!

Am I crazy or is each team supposed to have only one item? For one, I think that's the rules, or at least the advised set-up. And for two, it just seems fair; getting to pick that third item gave the player more choices than the other.
@mikemaxwell57653 жыл бұрын
yeah, items are optional...and each team gets one

It looks like fun, but I wonder how much depth vs complexity there is. Either way, I'd be curious to see if the other characters play significantly different.
@Quackalope4 жыл бұрын
It’s not extremely deep or complicated - but it is fun. Each character comes with some unique abilities that change up how you use your team for each challenge - the most complicated you can make it is with the 3x3 draft we did - it’s the best way to play.

OK, seriously, bald dude, learn to say "adjacent" right. Second syllable is "jay" not "juh". It pulls viewers right out of the video when you have a jarring mispronunciation like that. Listen to how your co-host says it. The term comes up way too often in board gaming.
@Quackalope4 жыл бұрын
Accents and dialects change from person to person, region to region, country to country - we both mess things up. You will be ok.
@BrandonGraham4 жыл бұрын
Sometimes it does take another person to point something out that you yourself have not really thought about. But @Ted Govostis , there are far better ways to do that without sounding like an internet troll. That was such an abrasive way to share your thoughts that your feedback is not likely to be taken seriously.
@Quackalope4 жыл бұрын
@@BrandonGraham It is the second time he has made a similar comment about Adjacent - the first time I did not know who he was correcting. "Bald Guy" is just as ambiguous - we are clearly both loosing hair :) - Sadly his sub feed is public and he is not even a subscriber of the channel . . . so . . . whatever. Jan says Adjuhcent and I say Munster :)
