Only way he should do it is with an expert CPA and Tax attorney . The laws are very strict as to how you claim to be a professional. I am a Banker - legal and I do not give tax advised. Other states attorneys can sue him . That’s why it’s strange to see what Dr.Heavenly does .

those deductions are really only applicable to folks who have a "business" and can report expenses against their revenue. if you really only have W2 income, it typically doesnt work for those kind of folks. i put "business" in quote bc some folks can claim to have a business and write off expenses that way...which i know people do. it would just take absorbing the risk of an audit, if it ever happens.
