Since LFNF's engine rewrite is might be way bigger than Ff's engine rewrite since LFNF is going to have covers based on ur skin. For every character, for almost every song, 24 new mods and 7 updated mods and punishment system for multiplayer.

I simply dispise any fnf engine counting as missing when letting go of a long note early. I have a tendency to let go early because quickly tapping my keys makes me play better, so this causes some issues for me.

just as said in the video, i love/hate this feature, as i like to keep holding the note after it ends, specially when its the last one of my turn ~3~ you can have a taste of it if go to R.A.T (Rap Ability Test) as it uses this long note mechanic (lifts) btw just like domain said, this is a FNF like game. some aspects of osu are welcomed, but not all, FNF got popular because of its easier difficult overall in the base game. (and most mods) i say this as both an fnf and osu!mania player its kinda sad rhythm games that allow custom songs or have a community that mod said game to play customs, often the newest maps/songs just have one diff and its a hard one. for example, clone hero, its kinda rare to find songs with other diffs than expert, even worse when said songs aren't popular to the masses. sorry for pulling out an essay with, probably, a lot or grammar errors, english is not my first language ouo)b

Yo Bacon, just a question I've wanted to ask you, have you noticed the arrow glow change? I'm pretty sure they added the new arrow glow in the Camellia 2.0 Update or the one before that, basically the new glow shows some extra glow around the receptor even if you have arrow glow (both settings) off. I'm pretty sure they're going for a new system of glow, but I'm not really sure. (please reply sharing your thoughts)

I think I noticed a bit of changes about arrow glow because I had some good reactions after seeing it for the first time Edit: 1 more other thing that I noticed is how it showed how the notes that were hit were showing red (as a note flash)

And also the glow inside the test server right now is just a placeholder, you can actually get the same type of glow just by only toggling on the "Arrow Glow" setting in the arrows tab *in settings.* I'm pretty sure that they'll add an option to completely remove the glow, make custom glow (own color) or maybe keep the already existing glow in. A prime example of the "new glow vs old glow" dilemma would be in Sillyfangirl's "The End" completion, (the old one from like 3 - 2 years ago) vs some random clip (agoti hifi insane fc) and by focusing on the arrow glow, you'll start to see the differences. "Peace ✌🏽."

ngl if i had to suggest something for a update it would be player made icons - players able to make icons (basically they make their icons with some color options with it being like arrow configuration, or they can just choose a image) - score evaluation revamp idea: the following evaluation is used: scores: 1=300k, 2=250k, difference: 1 = 50k+, 2= 50k-, this will be also used for the health-bar with maxium 1+100k and 2+100k to display the evaluation (for example if the one i showed a example of, the left side player would have 75% of the bar filled while the right side has 25%) - Players can make the icons change with the same evaluation above (for example if the player made their icon to change at -50k, it will change to onto a different icon they made for their set of icons when the player has 50k higher score than them) - players can block other player's icons if it is devious (they see a preview of their opponent's icon at the song selection screen so they can block it early), can also be reported. (which the devs can review in the game or their discord sever, oh yeah make it so its all icons/images of the same player at a time so the devs can have a easier time moderating) - if there is too many devious icons, the devs can make it so the icons must be reviewed in order for the player to use that set of icons, AND ONLY THAT SET OF ICONS AND MUST BE LIKE THIS ON RELEASE FOR SAFETY OF OTHER PLAYERS so yeah thats my idea hope you like it

that's just what you assume, they have been hyping us about this the whole time and actually have shown progress throughout the months, it's just a really really big update that needs time, don't forget that a lot of ff devs are also on college and focus more on family stuff rather than the game itself, pushing 70 updates like 2021 and 2022 isn't possible anymore

no? because the charts of the songs are actually different versions of the original, it'll have a unique chart to it, but you were correct that it doesn't destroy the fact that it can be an easy download, but it's also for those who just want to play ff with these songs in it, without osu! of course. difficult fnf mods are another thing, adding them isn't easy, plus not many hard mods are out there, some of them had mechanics that makes the mod hard but ff is really unlikely to create those mechanics and implement it into the real game
