In a master-class the teacher told his pupils: The instrument isn't the instrument, YOU are the instrument, the instrument let's us feel who and what YOU are. So, this guy has the technique to become pupil of a masterclass, but - there's no need. A complete musician. Saw a few vids, I like that guy. Really, really good. In the tiniest room I've ever seen. Awfull, really awfull - the room, NOT the musician.

It actually scares me to think how much better you may be now after ten years since you posted this incredible jam. I am a total hack player. Your fingering technique is magnificent. When I watch professional, serious musicians like you, I am inspired to be a little better every day. Still sounds as great as when I first heard it. And I still have my MM8. You are an amazing talent and a piano master despite your young age. If I could sound half as good as you someday, I would be ecstatic.
@dikchez8090 Жыл бұрын
You are doing a serious disservice to yourself in the long run having this perspective. It's fine to be humble and understand your skill level in comparison to others, but the way you express this view of yourself makes it sound very self destructive and inhibitory. The difference between 'serious' musicians and 'not serious' musicians is that 'serious' musicians don't take it that seriously. The instrument is like a toy that you play with instead of play on.

I like that his licks are interesting and he's not just shredding up and down scales. As a primarily guitarist I see way too many keyboardists play too much to a point where it doesn't even sound like music (same goes with guitarists) but not this guy. Really awesome man! Great chops!

Maravilhoso Thiago!
