I saw this guy live in san diego with the original trio years ago. It was the second time I had the experience of a band moving the earth below my feet. It was still so surprising. As the concrete floor at the 4th & B theater became a rolling wave thru Daniella and Funky Tonight the audience fell into rhythm. We bounced as one watching the mics on the stage fall over and the drum kit rock in time, we all knew this was one to never forget. This band knows how to deliver a show. They will deliver a special experience every night in person. What else is it all about?

I've also had the privilege of seeing the original trio in Sydney Australia, still the best show to date.

I found this song by accident back in 2008 and damn, best accident ever 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I forgot about it for a while but recently got a sudden urge to listen to it and it's as impressive as the first time, would love to see this live at least once in my life

Pretty much listen to it on repeat most days. Great combo of the lick from Devil Running and a lot of older stuff, especially around Indian Sky and Three era.

The man’s a straight up genius. With where the capo is he has like maybe 12 frets to work with and it sounds so complex
@Wildeheart794 жыл бұрын
12 frets across 6 pairs of strings is still a 3+ octave range, it's not as limited as you're making out. He's also got the capo on 4th fret which is 18 frets range not 12 meaning he's got 4+ octaves to work with

And he's like Pat Smear from the Foo Fighters, always happy, perfect and seemingly appreciative of how he makes a paycheck. Love that drummer!!
