Facts! Black women let it go. Imma be honest, i don’t know any Black women that was checking for Twitch while he was alive. That lady doing what she needs to cope and that’s their business. Stop saying she the reason for his passing. He took his own life and she and the kids are putting the pieces together. Yall are not grieving him in real life. I don’t think he loved women, and i think he struggled with his sexuality until he died which is why she mentioned that he was assaulted by a male family member. In the words of Terri from Soulfood, eff the family, for all we know his abuser attended the funeral too, they should sign NDAs

His wife, exactly! That was irritating, it’s only an issue if the spouse isn’t black, like the person didn’t CHOOSE them in the first place. This is what I don’t get with our people. Where in any marriage do the parents or siblings, have any say over their married children’s finances or business after they transition? They have a spouse and anything they have goes to the spouse. The same people that have all that to say, would knock the stew out their deceased spouse’s family for coming at them about money that they aren’t entitled to.

@vanitybeyond14 күн бұрын
This is exactly why I love your channel. You give it life it is rather the people want to hear it or not. But it's always facts in what you say. It's not our job to keep protecting black men when they clearly made their choice in the women they date/marry/ have kids with. It's the parents and their family's job to protect them and their name not the public. This is why I listen and not put myself in other people's business. I don't know them personally 🤷🏿♀️.

Yesterday I was thinking that as much as I didn’t like her choosing to speak publicly about his business, it was her decision to make. However, if you write things down in a journal that you do not discuss with anyone it’s because you didn’t want it discussed. Some people journal as an outlet to talk about things you aren’t comfortable with talking out loud about. It should have stayed in the journal.

@ you know what, your comment just made even more confused and curious about the whole situation with him. He didn’t get into a sudden accident or something that took his life, he ended his own life. So unless it was done impulsively at the time he decided to go do what he did, he left things in their home that would be found at some point or another. Or maybe the state of mind he was in he couldn’t or didn’t bother with anything he was leaving behind. Who knows! I can’t really say what it was like to be in a moment where you decide to leave your house and go somewhere else to do that but I would think it likely wasn’t a spur of the moment decision and you would probably have already made some kind of plan for the loose ends. Whatever those loose ends look like for you.

As someone who has lost a fiancé, I understand the difficult ritual that wives, fiancées, and girlfriends often face. The family of the husband or fiancé can turn against you in an instant. I experienced this firsthand, and I see that this is happening to her as well. Yes, it's a significant loss for his family, but he was her HUSBAND. If he struggled with drug problems, then that's the truth. I believe her intention was to help others, but unfortunately, his family doesn’t see it that way right now. And instead of being upset with her, they need to ask themselves what is the root of this drug use. And chances are, it's because of his family. So, I have no issue with this. And Q, you're right - he chose her as his wife.
@BlkOnyx050814 күн бұрын
A fiancé and a husband are two different things. Also, within reason, I’m going to reason with my MIL. If she wanted something too odd or expensive at the funeral I would have her pay for whatever that was. Life is simple. Grief is uncomfortable. I’m not going back and forth with nobody about them loving on their unalive child. Your husband is also someone’s Child. You must respect that fact.

Who gaves a darn about his "good name" (and I say this respectfully as I know people are troubled) but he unlit his own light and telling his story could help someone else STILL here. 2025 and many if you best start looking at things from a HEALTHY perspective and not just what most of the people you know thinks and expel.
