Andre Leon Talley is one of those people who were a part of the NY social scene because it was cool to have him there. He was afforded entre by his position, money was not required like others. So, he had the illusion of money because of who he kept company with. He walked the walk, talked the talk and was always ready to be the accessory for Anna and her friends' events. In the meantime, he did not amass a fortune of his own. There are lots of aged out fancy men in NY who were society womens' pocket gay. @daniellegilles91274 жыл бұрын
A gentleman’s agreement absolutely does not hold as much weight as a signed contract. A signed contract would allow the parties to litigate the terms of the contract. With an oral contract you have to first prove that there was a bargained for exchange which was accepted by the other party before you even get into the terms that were breached. No judge will believe that these sophisticated men did a straw purchase for a million dollar home with no written agreement. They are going to treat him an a leasehold tenant and order him to vacate the property.

Does that mean I’m not a hunter? No. But I know that when you check off the right boxes in life, it makes people come to you and not the other way around.
