First of all she was raised for the first 5-7 years with both parents. She lived with her mother a short while and then moved with her father who paid for her private education. Megan as lived and identified as a white woman. She has just recently latch on to her blackness after moving the Southern CA. As for her mother she as well do not relate to her black relatives. Her family are from tha Atlanta area. They are the Raglands of Atlanta. They did not even know that Megan was related to them until right before the wedding. The part of the interview where Q mentioned William being next in line and Harry not really resonated with me. My biological parents split when I was a baby, my mom remarried, had 2 more kids with my stepdad and they've been married almost 30 years now. My stepdad inherited something and now he wants me to go into the family business and help build it up with my brother. I am not a biological son, and I plan on being a bachelor for life. I am like Harry in this sense; I am rebelling and refusing to buy into the brainwashing because I will never benefit from investing into and building someone else's legacy that was not my birthright in the very first place. The moment I am gone, it will all be stripped away and given back to my stepdad's family. I only get a piece of it through marriage and I already know they don't view me as an equal so they will probably fight with me the entire time anyway. I would be wasting my time, essentially. There's layers to this story but the fact still remains that if my brother and I were Princes, I would be Harry and he would be William. I'm pursuing life and fulfillment elsewhere because realistically speaking, despite being the first born son, I would essentially be inheriting something that was never intended for me to begin with 😉 Its very tough breaking away from your family, they all turn on you and true colors are shown. I admit, I’m a black American but very much studied British, American and world history in undergrad just it was interesting and heck I needed electives so why not. I’ve been confused for years why everyone is so up in arms about a royal family that doesn’t actually rule anything, Parliament does. The fact that “titles” are no longer being issued all over the place and that everyone and their family gets to be a prince, princess, duke or duchess as was the case in the past is a reflection of the fact that there were historically too many of them and the meaning of the titles were watered down back when they still actually had power combined with the fact that they now historically no longer have that power and the fact that the British citizens raised issues with their taxes being used to support the royal family. Definitely not, it exists to some extent or another basically everywhere whether it be purposely or due to pure ignorance. However the entire situation is not due to racism and I do think there was ignorance on both sides. However, I can’t be 100% on either side in this case. Before anyone elects to insert themselves in a situation they should fully know what they are walking into and not go into it blindly with fake rose colored glasses. This is not a case where there weren’t previous signs in the past that things could be crappy and go left when being a part of the royal family. Fergie and Diana were white and look how left it went for them. Which is exactly why Harry was willing to walk away for his family because he knows. He knows his grandmother elected to forgo her own happiness in her life to tow the line for the royal establishment and she expects the rest of them to do the same. Duty first, happiness is optional and a luxury. Harry is like his mother and he has chosen happiness first, duty secondary. As the “spare heir” his entire life he has the option to do that and has always had more freedom of his own personal will and in his mindset just due to his personal will and I’m sure his mother’s influence. One of the reasons he’s always been my favorite. I hope he, Meaghan and his family are happy, healthy, stay safe and are able to live their lives the way that they feel is best for them. I hope they succeed and thrive. Hopefully the day will come when everything can be resolved and they can all be family because the kids deserve to have a relationship with each other.

She grew in two worlds in LA. Her mother lived in Leimert Park, a predominantly black community in Los Angeles and her dad lived in the Valley and worked on TV shows like Married With Children. She also went to school in the Valley and high school at a Catholic all girls school, so no she didn't have the typical black experience. She said a teacher when she was in elementary school, told her to check the white box when it came to race because she appeared white. But she said she couldn't do that because she had a black mom. Which is why she identified as biracial. Each mixed persons journey is different and that needs to be respected. But never once have I heard her deny her black mother.
