Well as a black woman I do not feel as though WE perpetuate the “roll your neck” black woman stereotype. We are one of the only groups that has to JUSTIFY our anger and frustrations not only to white people to black men. Far too many times, people have treated me differently and I overcompensate by being “nice” and “understanding”. But as soon as I feel disrespected I am expected to give that same energy. So white people are SURPRISED because I am not that nice black girl anymore that made them feel comfortable. I am angry and neck rolling. Simply because I had to step out of that role of being “the nice black girl” to finally validate my feelings. The very feelings that have been ignored for HUNDREDS of years. So no, I think Kim started a a fire and then got surprised when 5 black women put it out. I do think culturally black women have this untouchable flavor on how we address issues. We are witty, we are quick, and unapologetic when our backs are against the wall. But don’t push us, because we have been pushed for waaaayyyyy too long. I clapped through this ENTIRE VIDEO!!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 loved the analysis!!!

We have to stop policing ourselves to fit what We think white America needs us to be so that we can be accepted socially, if we keep it all the way real....We will never be until we as a collective stop living our lives "searching" for approval and validation from them.

I had a white friend who used to taunt her Baby daddy new girlfriend. One time the girlfriend jumped on her and beat her ass. I was there and I didn’t move because it wasn’t my fight. She was so mad at me and we didn’t talk for a few days. When we did have lunch to talk about it I got her together. You can’t provoke folks and then cry about it. She told me well I’m taking her to court and I’m a white woman so it’ll play in my favor. It did play in her favor and I haven’t talked to her since. This video was a 1000% true.

Dineva, Kim's relationship with black women and her earlier friendship with Nene derives from circumstance, not authentic relationships. Due to her previous professional life as a mistress/kept women, white women will not tolerate her behavior and look down on her. They would never align themselves with someone with such unapologetic, low moral character. We as a people (black women) are a little less judgmental and forgiving, as long as she is cool and doesn't mess with my man/husband she is ok. If she did have the option of being in the company of elite white women she would, but she does not have the option. Do you agree?

With all due respect, I think the real issue is that Kim kept insisting that she was "not a racist," but when she resorted to the tears and fragility to support her victim narrative, she threw around "African-American" as if that term inherently implied she was in danger. "I was out there with FIVE African-American women." You'd think she was in a den of ravenous lions. Then, she and Kroy tried to shame Andy as a white man for "letting it happen." All those women did was passionately call Kim to the rug to answer and be accountable for her microaggressions against them without cause. She had no NEED for protection. And she even berated Sheree, because she thought Sheree was her token black pet who was supposed to be the Black female buffer between Kim and the other girls like a damn attack dog. Sheree's goofy ass kee-kee'd with Kim all season, and she DESERVED to be fired. The sad part is Andy even highlighted that there was nothing positive that she brought to this season. And he damn sure wasnt going to let her hop into a waiting SUV after asking her softball questions about her manservant Kroy and their village of kids. That boring shit is on Tardy for the Party, and viewers don't even watch it THERE, so he wasn't going to risk his highest-rated show for that bullshit.

When I point out my non-appreciation of her verbiage she responds by saying she feels I always attack her. I’m very calm when I point out her brash demeanor but she feels intimidated. Yes to the fact that Ne Ne and MANY sisters love to boast about getting people together. The issue is that Kim claims to be friends with all the rappers and their wives. All the baddie black women on reality TV and other celebrities. She’s not ACTUALLY scared or intimidated by strong black women. She’s intimately familiar. She was using code words to elicit a specific emotion from Andy, the staff, Kroy, and everyone watching. That’s what makes what she did even more hateful. She loves to be hella down with all the cool black folks, but when she gets called on the carpet for being gratuitously foul she acts like she’s a timid mouse. Foh Kim! Great great discussion friend.

Sharee and Kim both looked realllllll silly on stage. I've never seen Sharee at a loss for words like she was on this reunion. You ain't never lied about how a lot of White women like to bark then turn to a victim when they get the bark back. That's facts!!!

You were on point this whole video. I know I definitely do feel that Black women are stronger and at the same time, White women feel this and use it when it suits them also. Great points!
@kokolatte8256 жыл бұрын
I appreciate how he put it too. I don't believe it's that we're stronger but, so many Black women (especially on reality tv) play into that being louder, more sassy persona. And yes, it gives other women the opportunity to play that against us when the 💩 hits the fan.
@kyrunya6 жыл бұрын
TheJw1358 That was well played. And you’re right. I do tend to be a straight shooter and people in general can’t take that. Especially when I’m speaking some truths they don’t want to hear. Then I’m the outsider. The rebel. The attitude. When in all due reality, I am the TRUTH! I don’t play the games that they play and I’m not dumb enough not to see them when they do. So, I’m labeled a problem. Folks wanna fuck over you but, they don’t want you to see it. I could go on and on all night. LOL! I’ve been forced to be stronger. People take my kindness for weakness until they mess over me and find out I’m not that nice. I promise you that I am the most loving, understanding, and compassionate person you can ever meet. But when I feel threatened or that someone is trying to play me, I strike out. Maybe I should just start crying. Idk... I could really learn from you though.

TheJw1358 You’re absolutely correct. I’ve even been told this before. Just hard for me not to react. I’m learning though. I’ve done well with my poker face lately. I do document everything. I’ve documented blatant favoritism where I was punished for doing something many others did and on of them, more than me. Of course, this information will only help me in court if I end up having to file a lawsuit. No one, and I mean no one at that place gives a damn. LOL!

I felt a little heartbreak for Sheree same as I did for Kandi. Both were used by Kim. She benefited from their friendship while Kandi (wrote the girl her WHOLE platform and got zero credit or royalties) and Sheree (fired and looking stupid) got bent over a barrel. But, she's the victim? In the bathroom scene when she started crying, "You didn't stick up for me." They must take a class on that ish.

Dineva you did a great job. You can tell Nene came into this season with a open heart wanting to have fun. This is why I follow him because he does speak the truth, but I don't think Kim was the only brave white woman willing to enter the lions den with the other black women, I feel that she is considered trash when measured up to her other counterparts like Orange County & Beverly Hills, I feel RHOA was her only and final offer, if she could've went to any other show she would've been gone.

@keandrebell-washington99046 жыл бұрын
She got fired for several reasons. Lack of a good storyline. Siding with the wrong people, intentionally making herself an outsider from the rest of the cast. Not hustling at all, solely depending on the show to pay for that house she knows she can't afford to upkeep. Sheree is flat out stupid. How sad is it for a 48 year old person to get fired for repeating the same mistakes they did 6 years ago?

I will be completely honest...this is one of the most realest videos I've seen in a long time and I was literally glued to the channel. The articulation and common sense that you used in order to get to the deeper part of the reunion was intriguing. You are right on all fronts and I loved it. Until you broke it down with what Kim meant when she was in the bathroom, I was like alright now you can't be that stupid Kim. Now I will say this...I was born in 79 and in Charleston, SC so trust when I say that racism was all over the South but yes when the internet got invented some years afterwards and then phones became popular and pics etc. That's when it all started being the forefront of the conversations, BUT when Trump got into office, that's when all the dormant racist started appearing because they feel that the president has given them a free pass. Yes with Trayvon Martin and even a few years prior to that it was starting to show but EVERYTHING came out with Trump got into office. Even though it was always there with those people, he just brought it to the forefront. So I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Keep it up...sorry for the lengthy discussion

I remember first season when sheree was coming off her marriage and being in all those rich circles. And nene was trying to get in and she even said she wanted to be the talk of the parties. She worked hard and she basically made it lol. Mean while sheree husband cut all her money off forcing her to move out that big house. She basically never bounced back. She wasn’t out there working hard like nene. Now this white woman in New York rub me the wrong way as well. And I agree. They have all that mouth and high privilege but as soon as some one of color snap back we always look crazy smh. I see it all the time

I agree with Wendy. That reunion was ghetto and classless. Those "ladies" did come for Kim like pit bulls dressed in prom dresses! It was gross and ghetto. Yes Kim is stupid. Low IQ. Out of touch. But she's not racist.

RHONY is good. They have a little more subtlety when it comes to the plastic surgery and and over the top ball gown and crown nonsense. Plus theres more sincerity and camaraderie between the ladies. New Jersey and Beverly Hills are gross and cheesy.

Successful women support and uplift each other. Jealous, insecure and uneducated women viscously attack and come at each other. It's tacky and gross. Very low IQ.
@deucedavis406 жыл бұрын
H H there was camaraderie amongst the women. At the end of the reunion everyone walked off fine except the two people (Kim and Sheree) that were creating the most drama and attacking all of the ladies last season. The fast 5 minutes of the show REALLY put Kim’s role this season and how Kim views these women in perspective. 1. She’s unrealistic about the real world. Racism is real! Even Sheree looked at her sideways when Kim claimed racism doesn’t exist. 2. She thinks she’s too good to be sitting on a stage with all of those black women; according to her she has her own show. Her show, was built off the backs of the black women of RHOA who gave her an actual platform. 3. Kim has been negative and combative this entire season (thank you Andy for pointing that out to her) and what we saw at the reunion was the women’s reaction to her negativity. The entire point of these reunions is to address any problems that existed during the season and Kim deserved everything she got after the way she attacked everyone this season. Kim needs to be thankful that Porsha did try to help her after Kim attacked her and her sister during the last episode. Like I said, and Andy too, she was negative and combative with everyone at some point this season except Sheree.
