MiiVerse works with pretendo on both Wii U & 3DS! I didn't talk about it in the video but if you get and error code loading it, try the next day (took me 3 days) Also you can actually confirm your email now!

@@BigDTonyhere, try these steps to resolve your issue: 1. go to the pretendo app on your 3DS and switch to nintendo network 2. wait for your console to reboot, then go onto the pretendo app again and switch to pretendo network 3. after your console reboots, go to the settings app and select “Nintendo Network ID Settings”, then try entering your pretendo network ID if these steps don’t work, then try repeating the process again. it’s common to get errors during the process, but eventually it should work. hope this helps!

If you play mario kart 7, check out the home-brew mk7 mod. Can play online with over 50+ added tracks, added characters like sonic or waluigi, auto accelerate. And best of all, you can host your own private lobby with your own settings and play with friends 😊 If you haven't heard of it I would give it a google

You can actually use Pretendo on the 3DS without linking the ID and only using the Friend code. Great video Scott!

I was eagerly awaiting and wondering when a version of/something like Wiimmfi would become a thing for the the 3DS & Wii U sometime after the official servers shut down, but i didn't expect for it to be a thing ALREADY, let alone, 5 months old, or more! 😮 This DOES require a Computer/Laptop and SD Card, so i won't be able to do it for what'll likely be a long time, but once i'm able, i'm going to come back to this video and do this ASAP! But regardless of that, TSYM for making this video! It's incredible what the Nintendo modding community can do... 😢

This method worked for me from the Pretendo Discord "1. Switch to Nintendo. 2. Turn off the console. 3. Reboot and Switch to Pretendo. 4. Sign in."

I have successfully homebrewed my Wii U and I am on Pretendo now. Thank you for your help. Recently, I have found 100% saves for Super Mario Maker. I am wondering though, I found a file with all of the mystery mushroom costumes and one with all of the event courses. Is there a way to combine them or move the courses into the other save? It would be nice to not have to toggle between saves.

when you create the account from the website they will not allow you to change the country and the birthdate so create it from the console

Thanks for the tutorial, it worked, but I do have one issue : It installed perfectly and everything and when I tried Mariokart 7 online I did get online with other players but when the race was about to start, the whole 3DS crashed and I had a black screen with Luma-like UI where it said "Arm11 Processor crashed" and stuff. Then when I rebooted the 3DS (I had the option to either send the error code or just shut down the console) and tried again, I couldn't get in a single lobby, it kept searching for players. It did say that I connected to Nintendo Network and I could play Worldwide, but it just wouldn't find any lobby. Could you help me with that please ?

Question on my 3DS: I created a Pretendo account with the same name/email (I later read NOT to), and it now won't let me remove it without either reformatting my SD card, or tells me it'll delete my ENTIRE account... Why won't it just let me remove it, and if I select to delete it, it's threatening that I'd lose access to my purchases/saves and whatnot, but I want to make SURE it's not deleting my REAL one I still use on my Switch and all my purchases there! It's hard to tell which it means now, as Pretendo's essebtially tricking my 3DS into thinking it's connected to the official Nintendo servers. Any help would be appreciated, and sorry if this is confusing to read.

I’m having a problem. I was able to do everything perfectly. Install terimisu, install aroma, install pretendo, even transferring my save data. But I had to get a new copy of splatoon 1 since I lost my old one. And I need to update it to play online (I think). I just keep getting error code 105-4069. And splatoon was giving the same error as Mario kart but then it went back to showing 104-2210 again and Mario kart stoped working

The vwii uses a different server, so as long as ou have ctgp setup, it will use wimmfi! :)

you can load into miiverse after you have your PNID set up on your console, it may take a few tries though

So, I didn’t add Inkay from the computer. I downloaded the patch through the homebrew store. I used the same pnid from my simple dns change that got me online while my system was stock. Now that it’s home brewed I can not play online without pointing the dns to pretendos servers. What am I missing?

Hi. I have my Wii U modded with Aroma (updates disabled) and I have created a Pretendo ID. However, I'm concerned that if I connect to the internet, Nintendo is going to re-format my system. This happened a week ago with the same machine, that was previously modded with Coldboot Haxchi. Obviously I had to start over from scratch, reinstall EVERYTHING the new way, and I don't want to repeat this process. A]ny advice?

I'm pretty sure you don't have to mod your wii U ,You use the DNS method which is something to do with just changing a few settings on the wii U internet settings.

On the pretendo website it says to use saveMii to transfer the data to your pretendo account, problem is whenever I try to boot saveMii, it just gets stuck on a black screen, wich makes me have to hard reset wich my Wii U. Please help.

Hello, guys. I must apologize in advance for posting this situation regarding PNID and Miiverse, friends in WiiU. I explain: I created a PNID for WiiU and all worked fine (it's a different name from my NNID so it's fine) but when I tried to link it to my 3DS, it didn't let me so I used another PNID account that I have created just in case, this one with the same name as my WiiU NNID original. So I ended up with 2 different accounts for both systems. I can't use my 3DS PNID in my WiiU as the console says it's already on the system. So, can I do this? : Backup my WiiU NNID saves and write down my PNID WiiU friends' IDs down (to later add them again) so I can delete that NIND account from WiiU, and then add the PNID one from 3DS? I know I messed up. All I want is not to be using 2 Miiverse accounts. Thanks in advance for your help.
