Richard Gibson who plays Herr Flick is one of the nicest people I've ever met. Seen him at two separate film/tv conventions, both times he was there with Helga (Kim Hartman) and they were incredibly sweet. Constantly in a cheerful mood, never a "no" in their mouth, and often they'd sit together and giggle like little school children. So cute to watch the two, as they're clearly great friends in real life. Also bumped into him later -out of costume at a hotel- and he was still incredibly nice!

I was lucky to meet the cast at the War and Peace Show in Kent. Have signed photos of Gruber and his little tank and one of Helga too. They were all in costume and it was such a thrill to see them. I refuse to accept that it's anything other than genius and very close to the truth: both my parents lived through the war and loved the programme and said it was spot on. Mummy is now 96 and lived in Germany through the war. It's her favourite programme.

Always hilarious.... Every second word has me on the floor ! Esp. Gruber, who I adore. He really nailsit.... and so deadpan. Flik and fish.....what a great double act these two are. I never get tired ofwatching Allo Allo.... Must've seen all the episodes at least three times each. Writing is the best inthe world ... Dad's Army runs a very close second . Thank you all for your contribution to cheering upmy life ( and my mum's ..who didn't laugh at any old rubbish.! ) Patsy Rhodes (one-time secretary toJohn Cleese when he lived in Basil Street with then-wife Connie. )

I saw the stage production the TV cast did many years ago and it was the funniest live stage production I have ever seen, such talent on one stage there comedic timing was brilliant all wonderful stage actors , something that British Tv has over the US ....no disrespect but true...

😂Coolest guy in the room is not always the one with a gun or the one who always follows top down command while remaining strictly on his game too. Strictly on his game while being ever so careful when it comes to limiting any kind of less than ideal according to only the Furher a laughter instead of only just an 'infectious smile' break out when any emperor with new clothes happens to be only bwe walking by instead same as usual at the time.
