The railroad gates are designed to give way. As you can see here, the person easily lifted them up. A car could go under it and it would push up out of the way they also break away if need be. BOTTOM LINE: move the car to safety.The gates won't stop you.

Has anybody else ever wanted to see a Celebrity edition of that show Wipeout. Where contestants have to navigate obstacle courses and get past the Big Red Balls. Child Blu. That was a CHILD. Not a teenager. And yes it was on purpose. They waited until that little girl was RGHT there and the car door FLEW open. FAST. Also you can just SEE that they were in the process of JUMPING onto her back ready to force her face into the pavement. That was just exceedingly unnecessarily aggressiveness on the part of the cops.
