Yeah definitely. My black cat, Salem, (who passed a few months ago) used to get regular visits from another black cat (also named Salem) who lived 2 doors down. He would sit, right by our deck window, & either stare at my cat or totally ignore him. My cat would hiss & growl & get all puffed up & crazy but it didn’t faze Salem #2 one bit. I’d eventually have to shoo him away to keep my cat from having a full blown heart attack. Haha.

We fostered a staffy who was about a year old naturally the cat was afraid by our dogs size and every time he'd be sleeping the cat would punch/swat him and he NEVER fought back but one day the cat was sleeping and our staffy just nudged it and the cat swatted him but with his claws out and our staffy pounced and nearly killed the cat immediately but the cat was severely injured and we had to put her down anyway 😢

When I was a young'un, one of ny Mom's friends had a beautiful sealpoint Siamese named Lucifer. If he was under the bed, your ankles would. bleed,' if he was on top of the cupboard he'd go for a ride on your head. All claws firmly anchored in his victim's scalp. He was never mean to their daughter or me...we were like 10 or 11 years old with proper kitty etiquette....no tail pulling, etc ✌💙😸.
