I guess you mean that he seems to be a lot more serious these days. While I understand that no one can be a goofball 24/7 I also hope that he will find back his lightheartedness at some point.

And people claim that he was hard to deal with during the shooting of POI. but the bloopers suggest completely otherwise. Idk what made them say that as i haven't been able to find any official news regarding his weird ass behaviour on the set of POI except that one "podcast" which reditters keep talking about. I know his real life views don't sit right with many people but i guess, we need to learn how to keep actors personal lives separate from their professional lives plus, he is entitled to have his own views/opinions just like we think we have and btw, after P.Diddys case, hollywood has been exposed quite well and no one can be seen as a saint from now on, we gotta accept this bitter reality that no one is perfect here, everyone has their flaws and we gotta have to make peace with it. Anyways, thank you for this video. Regardless of all other things he gets criticised for/accused of.. he is a good actor and no one can change this fact.

I don´t know what was told about him on POI set. What I know is that he mentioned in more than one interview that he was physically and psychologically drained from the long hours, the fighting scenes and being in nearly every scene. I guess everyone would have acted a bit weird at times with that combination. I so agree with you, he´s an amazing and very talented actor. No one is forced to agree with his private life values. Neither do I in all points. You summed it up perfectly. People need to learn to discern between him as an actor and him as a private person. There´s more than just one side to everyone. He has his flaws like everyone else but also good sides. It´s what makes a human a human in the end, isn´t it?

People claim that his screen time from S03 onwards gets reduced just because he started getting weirder and weirder and showrunners had to introduce shaw's character in case if they had to boot reese out of the show. I mean where is the source of all this bs? Isn't it plain slandering just coz people don't find his personal life views acceptable? I am kinda new to POI and tbh, I haven't finished it yet but 1st 2 seasons were too good and Jim acted so perfectly that it got me mad at myself that why I didn't watch it before. I hate myself for joining POI reddit community as 70-80% comments are like against Jim Caviezel, lol. Just coz he is devoted to his faith, loves his wife very much, won't talk about QAnon conspiracy as its his personal life and no one has any right to malign him, his name just coz he doesn't see the things as we see them. I am glad to know you think exactly like me, and this is why i am gonna subscribe to your channel. Thank you for being a sane voice in this cesspit of those(who can't let others live their lives the way they want to) and btw, i got to know about your video from Reddit, thats the only positive thing i got from that trash site.

@@Jiah_08 oh wow, I have no clue how this video got to reddig. I've never been on this site. Shaw was introduced to another reason. In season 3 you'll notice that Jim isn't doing any fighting scenes for a lot of episodes. It's because he has had open heart surgery between the seasons and wasn't allowed to overexert. I don't know why people spread such fake news about him or carry so much hate in them to put someone down they probably don't even know in person. The film industry isn't any better either. They blacklist him for years because of his faith and values. It's not fair but he stays true to himself nonetheless. Not everyone does. It's his life and he and his family need to be happy with it, not us. Everyone is free to have a different perception. Thank you for your kind words, right back to you! :) Oh, I only started POI during Covid, so I'm all late to the game too. It doesn't make the show less good.

@@DreamingRealist Wow, I wasn't aware he had open heart surgery after Season 2. I thought he had two surgeries after filming 'The Passion of the Christ.' Anyway, I never believed rumors that showrunners reduced his screen time due to his behavior, it never added up. And Thanks so much for taking the time to respond.
