In a recent Sumeru quest (mild spoiler) you can also kill someone from the village of Rana, since you made a promise to find the "bad guy" that was with the fatui, who you learn is also someone Rana says that the kids trust. Once you find who he is, you move him far from the village and also tell Paimon to do something else, so you can confront him alone, then you have two options, 1. Fight him and kill him yourself or 2. Asking him to leave, only to later find a note that implies that he was eaten by rifthounds near the Statue of the Seven in Old Varanara.

There's a NPC in Liyue who dumped a corpse into a well, essentially contamining the water, just so she could fake her death and run away with her boyfriend. There's Su Er'Niang next to Chef Mao in Liyue. She owns a food cart and sells Mora Meat and Zhongyuan Chop Suey. This is a reference to the fictional character Su Er'Niang in the novel Water Margins, who robs and turns customers at her inn into fillings for her meat buns. If you let Alphonso go after the aranyaka quest he gets brutally murdered by rifthounds. Dottore owns an underground arena named haeresys where he makes his experiments fight against monsters. In general everything about Dottore is pretty damn fucked up. Like he choked someone to death because they likely found out about something they shouldn't have. And then he had the corpse maimed to make it look like they died from a Rishboland Tiger attack.

About Dori got arrested by Cyno I think the merchant is Dori's subordinate, not Dori herself. She will not do something that can immediately get her into trouble, and it's shown in the Sumeru Archon Quest: 1. Alhaitham is on her blacklist, so he ask Traveller to meet her instead 2. We have to use a specific code to communicate with her subordinate and they only let us meet Dori if we get it right. Also, Cyno is a regular customer of Dori because he gets his TCG packs from Dori. So there's no reason to cut such a good source of Mora.

If you beat them using crowd controlling abilities or reactions you can make to where they never even get the chance to use a smoke bomb and they'll fade away. The problem of enemies dying isn't really canon. We only canonically punching people in the story quest related enemies and most of them just flee even tho they had similar k.o. animation with overworld. And some named enemies can be beaten multiple times, so they aren't really canonically exist, just for gameplay purposes. Most people who died canonically leave a body in story quest.

I noticed that with the Fatui that we dispatch. As time goes on, I’m starting to feel more and more for the soldiers. A vast majority are orphaned or abducted children who were raised to be disposable pawns. There were 2 quests down in the Chasm that really drives home that even though they’re brainwashed or fed whatever lies their superiors tell them, they are at the end of the day human just like everyone else. They get lonely, form bonds of friendship and camaraderie, and want to do whatever they can for their homeland. Also don’t get me started on Zhiqiong… That damn stubborn ass girl… honestly I hope she’s okay (probably won’t be) but she done dried up my sympathy well a long time ago. All those times we had to go scoop her ass up and bring her back and lecture her on her health only for her to do it all over again time after time. The last time I just fricken knew she was gonna bounce the second I teleported away. Like I said, I hope she’s okay, and I hope Mihoyo will bring us some form of closure someday as to her fate.

It’s kinda ambiguous if the fatui, hilichurls, or nobushi actually die when they’re defeated. They do disappear into blue particles, but so do your own characters when they fall and they can be revived by eggs, comparing it to signora, when she died, it was into red particles, as if to signify that she had actually died. Some defeat quotes of the enemies do also seem morbid, but some of the other one’s definitely imply that they don’t die. And hilichurls in particular are somewhat implied to have a form of immortality.

Funny enough the traveler never faced the raidens sword, the first she defeated him with the spear and was unconscious for the final strike, second kazuha was the one who blocked it. Well there is also a third time with signora. But he never faced it directly.

To be fair the fatui regularly attack passerby’s which includes the Traveler so it’s all self defence. Plus the gap between the fatui and the Traveler in terms of war crimes is big enough to fit Pluto in it.
