In this case the hiss meant the puppies were invading personal space and making the cat feel uncomfortable, despite this the cat was still interested to be friends and have cuddles. Just needed to accustomise. Animals are generally more emotionally intelligent than people, as you prove.

2 words: pitbull puppy. Swear that their tails have the Speed Force. The tails hurt when they hit you, but it's so cute. It's not even just the pups. Pitties in general. The amount of times I've answered the front door because my Ruby Darling's tail thumping a mile a minute on the hardwood sounds exactly like knocking.

@@robertfan332 Or the owner just keeps putting the cat back onto the bed. You can only run for so long, cats are quick doing short distances but they get tired as well. Once human gets what they want, cat can run. That's the deal.
