You can find some of Judge Stutesman's old cases on Court Cam Judge Paul Stutesman. He's a very no nonsense judge. When he shut his feed down, he actually said something like, I'm not interested in becoming a KZbin star. Hard to tell if that was a jab at another judge or not.

Judge Stutesman's videos are short, single cases, done about July 2021. I think I remember him saying that he gets everyone on the Zoom call, present, and properly named before he ever turns on the live feed. That way, his proceedings never go viral. I think he was referring to a specific someone else. He is REALLY no-nonsense. He wears his glasses on his head almost all the time. I did see him take the glasses off and lay them on the desk when he was making a serious announcement-type video, but I've never seen him use them to look at anything.

Judge Stutesman (Judges Middleton, Pattison, and Tomlinson's boss) used to post zoom videos but no longer does. It's too bad because I did like watching them and he appeared to be a very fair and caring judge. He handled the felonies that Middleton couldn't. (Mike, do you know why a judge couldn't do felonies? Middleton has been a judge for almost 20 years.) Judge Pattison has has only 4 videos. Judge Tomlinson doesn't have any postings.

I wonder if Judge Rangel is still looking for a TV show. Her demo for "Judge Bonnie's Family Court" is on Vimeo and is absolutely hysterical. She wants to be a compassionate judge with some Mexican spice. 😆People kept telling her she could be the next Judge Judy, so she made a demo that's deliciously awful. I've made deliciously awful demos myself, so I appreciate her effort, but she really shouldn't count on TV for her retirement. She also seems to have a problem remembering to pay her bar association dues each September 1st; she's been suspended seven times. Must be something about Labor Day that affects her memory. She's well-meaning and a good judge, and she's certainly entertaining.

I'm very confused about what Judge Rangel was saying. She asked the defendant where he was born and then she confirmed he was born in El Paso and was a US citizen. She then proceeded to warn him about being deported and denied naturalization. So does this mean in the 10 microseconds between breaths that El Paso was kicked out of Texas and all people born there were stripped of their citizenship?? 😵

Nope they have to go through that with all defendants. She established that he is likely a citizen more for his benefit. That way he would be more comfortable that the required admonishment didn’t really matter to him.
