The origins of the movie came not only from the old Western with Lex Barker but from Michael "Bully" Herbig's show "Bullyparade". The concept of the show were visual sketches with the three main actors "Bully", Christian Tramitz and Rick Kavanian which mostly never exceeded 5 minutes. In the sketches they used the original names of Winnetou and Old Shatterhand. But probably because of copyright, they changed the names to "Abahachi" and "Ranger". Abahachi also had a gay Twin Brother called "Winnetouch". The bad guy and leader of the Outlaws is "Santa Maria" and portrayed by the actor Sky du Mont who normaly played more serious roles. Up to this day "Schuh des Manitu" and "Traumschiff Surprise" were the most successful german movies.

When it was a good movie, all over the world they would know it. Nobody outside germany, austria, switzerland will ever hear of this "movie". Every reaction clown here on youtube makes the same clip and the same topic "Do you know this movie?". Dont ask such stupid shit for youtube money, a shame (the movie and you :)

I never knew that in at least 3 Films of Bud Spencer and Terrence Hill Enrico Moricone made the soundtrack. The two Nobody Films and Occhio alla penna or "Eine Faust geht nach Westen"

The movie also got a spiritual successor of sorts, (T)Raumschiff Surprise Peroide 1. It's just as satirical as Schuh Des Manitu and is a parody of sci fi movies, mainly Star Wars and i think Star Treck.

OUT OF CONTENT: greetings and love from Germany again....last friday horror came again to Germany......well, in case you don´t know ,,,,there was this pyscho AND THIS IS TRUE; he ploughed his car through a crowd of visitors to the Christmas market in Madgeburg; with high speed and kills 5 poor people and injured over 200 others, many of them seriously. .My thoughst are with the victims and their families......... wish you and your family very peaceful holidays, buddy
