Surely the reason why Biff returned to the very same 2015 Marty and Doc were in would be because of their actions in 1955, stealing the almanac back, and also because it's not until the end of Part 3 that it's determined that the future is unwritten. Because the 2015 Biff returns to is the same as before he went back in time, we can then assume that Marty and Doc's role in 2015 was much like Indiana Jones in Raiders. Both possibilities have the same result, whether Marty purchased the almanac or left it

I believe the reason the explanation for the BTTF discussion is that once 2015 Biff went back in time, just lile Doc and Marty, be ause theybjad crossed outside the main timeline, and thus were unaffected by the timeline shift. (Kinda like Bishop in the Xmen, he had to wear the arm band to keep him in the current timeline, then once he came back after Wolverine cured Apocalypse's plague.

The natzi had a copy of the medallion..it was in reverse because it was burned into his hand. The only problem with that if they found the room his hand print wouldn't be able to show them the location.

While Amy does have a fair point about Indiana Jones not having a role in stopping the Nazis. Indiana Jones is the proxy for the audience and is part of the surviving crew that goes on to tell the story and bring it back. The Nazis opening the ark is not the end of the movie

He only found the medallion, and even without it, the Nazis would have found ark eventually by digging randomly. And let's not forget, Belloq (who works for Nazis) also found medallion location, he just waited for Jones to pick it up, to avoid traps inside the temple. Even if we assume he just followed Jones, it is highly unlikely that Jones is the only person who could find this temple. So yes, Nazis would have found it in any case.

That's the point of Raiders-- that he can't have an effect. It is a man caught in massive events perpetrated by massive entities. The best he could do is survive. Even when he thinks he wins, the Ark is lost again amongst the crushing bureaucracy of the supposed good guys. Even daring Indy is helpess against the crush of time's events and the whims of nations. Amy should know better.

You cannot change the past or the future by traveling to the past or the future cuz when you leave will be the time you arrive and when you arrive will be the time you left and another hypothesis if it were able for you to change the timeline you would not be able to go back to change the timeline because once you change the timeline you will not have existed therefore you can't go back to change the timeline

Amy is wrong. Yes, the Nazis would have all died on the island, but the Americans would not have recovered it. More Germans would have eventually arrived and taken it. Also, it is not impossible that the Germans would never have found the Ark, abandoning the dig after it taking too long.
